O hai guise! I'm new here. I was looking for a newbie forum, but couldn't find one. I have a black '95 240. I am most active on NewTiburon, as far as car forums go, but I was also at 240SXForums for awhile - it wasn't as fast-paced as I like it. I'm well known over at NewTiburon for hating those who fail to search, so I have this feeling I will fit in here. :P

Yes his new car is higher, but it makes more power has better tires and now he can actually drive it without buying a new kit after every event.

Anywayyyyy, the cars have been looking good. still waiting on my wheels, just order new carpet, might not matter to most people but I hate how much hotter the cabin gets without carpet and I dont like ghetto fab grey, so once this stuff comes in Ill post up some pics. Hope the carpet fits well.

Current Setup. Dont remember, either 17x8 or 17x9 all around. 245/40 17's up front. 245/45 17's in back.
Wheels were free. Decent stance until i get the setup i really want.

I like the new revamp of the car. I don't see it being much higher. It looks like he has a 17/18 stagger and almost tucking rim in the rear. The fronts are 17's so looks different. The front bumper probably looks higher since A) it is a different style and B) looks to be properly mounted. I loved the old version but appreciate the new. And, he's still rockin a Zenki.


When I first saw the car, I thought he got sponsored by Monster. That is still my first glance impression. That is my biggest gripe.

Well, did you notice that Matt did not finish as high up as he could last season? You know why? Because his old setup was form over function not function over form. Yes his car was super capable for being so low. But if you would ask any of the pros, how could Matt Powers drive better? They would alll say get some more power, better tires, and raise your car a little. well, check, check, and check, so all in all I am looking forward to seeing if he actually does better.


On a side note, is 215/45/17 too much of a stretch on 9.5 wide wheels?

Center Vent on the front bumper is what's different on Vertex/Version Select. Vertex's center vent goes bit above the metal bumper bar line, and Version Select is Straight accross/leveled with the outter vents.

PS. I dig the new setup Matt Powers got now. can't wait to see it this year.

Soooo, i thought i was going to join the darkside *kouki*, i was wrong. it took me a while to realize how much more sexier zenki's are, and i love it too much, thought about it carefully. and i think ive made the right decision IM STAYING ZENKI FO LIFE!hahah

instead of going kouki, i got some new wheels, and ALOT more zenki goodies, that i still need to put on my car, stay tuned! )
