some very nice setups but noticed 8/10 of you guys don't have harnesses/racing seats...anyone have any experience crashing with just a regular seat belt and no airbag?

in a 240, it wont make a fundamental difference whether you have airbags or not; the design is not the same is in newer cars. plus there is no point in having a harness without a cage/roll bar; its just not safe

actually harness is really really safe talking from experience. i had harness with out cage or bucket seats. douche bag hits me head on going 60 my car was bend and i spinned in air twice my dash was on my lap thats how far it came in and harness saved my ass.

Well my friends.. I think I may have the most amazing set up out there... In fact, I would be willing to wager that it is the most horrendous wheel ever
![]() This is what came on my car... the black areas were originally silver (to match the beautiful silver accents of the shift boot and interior)... I painted it black for good measure... but there is no salvaging such a hideous contraption. ![]() THE GOOD news is, a Nardi Classic has taken over. |

I don't understand why people are pissing and moaning about this thread being retarded.
I get the fact that yes there is already an interior thread.... so in a way this sutff could be included in that thread. I don't however see how you think this thread is in anyway going to help someone steal that stearing wheel. Almost all the steering wheels in this thread are on quick releases which means the people take them out of the car. I have a trunk I can lock with a key and that can not be opened any other way whenever i go anywhere i lock the wheel in the trunk. |

should be about 2 inches. the dished wheel also makes it easier to get in the seat.
about the red center console: the previous owner painted it that way and i didn't bother to paint it since i got the car. besides, i wouldn't be able to hit the original color so that would mean i'd have to re-paint the entire center console. i already thought about swapping it to a new one but it's kinda hard to source RHD parts here in germany. |

![]() Some old Nardi wheel; probably 1/2" dish. Momo hub with an ebay adaptor plate, about 3/8" thick. Sits right where the stock wheel was or maybe just slightly closer to the driver. |

Eh, a little but really not by much. I'm 5'9" btw so maybe for taller people it would be more in the way. I like it, no blind spots.
I got it cause i had some amazon gift certificates layin around and it was like ~20 bucks. bolts right into the visor holes as well |

dude it almost looks plush, like if you took a teddy bear, skinned it and stretched it onto the wheel. i bet that keeps hands warm haha
