was pretty much debt free besides my visa that i paid off each month.. was about 2 months from getting a house when i had a run in with cancer last year.. now its all on hold for a bit until i get my finances back together.. MRIs can add up..

190k mortgage @4.75%
40k student loans @2.5%

no auto loans, no CC debt.

I pay for everything on my American Express, because I get 1-3% back on every purchase (~$500/yr). But I don't buy what I can't afford and I pay it off every month so I've never paid interest on it.

on the plus side:
$20k in the bank
~$70k in retirement savings so far (401k/IRA)

School Loans are my only debt at least 15k-20k no job working for my self on the computer repair hustle so i can eat and pay for gas and keep the 240 running. Thanks to no available jobs that pay pretty close to what i want.

Yea but like i said it looks bad at first glance when you read it I am 19 ill be 20 in late feb. and owe the bank 10k for a loan i took out to build my Z and get even better credit...

23. just went from having maxed out credit cards (at about 6,000) and only making 10k a year because of working at the great old Best Buy as a part timer. one card had a 29.7APR and the other is 21.2.

sold my s13, paid off the 29.7 apr card, i only owe a little less then 3k now which feels amazing, no more working just to afford credit card payments. and now have a job making 25-35k a year depending on how much over time i have to work at the new job. life feels so much better with less debt and knowing you'll be out of it very soon.

Massive RB build had to put about 6k on a card after spending all my savings (only owe $2700 now and i transfered it to a 0% card till july)
$650 on another card (paying off next week)
still owe my boss $2k for the Tomei RB28 short block (just paid him $2k monday)
something like $8k in the bank

PERFECT CREDIT
11 years of credit.... never one late payment... not one.... i never pay minimums either.... thats for the birds.... most of my cards (6 personal, one buisness) are at 12.99%-13.99% right now (pretty good for credit cards) and my limits range from 4k to 16k..... the buisness card is rediculous like 50k lol

unfortunately NO retirement funds

I'm not sure if i've participated in this thread in the past few years but here is my current situation:

$9k left for my X-runner
$14k left on my stu loans
$100k + for my house

I plan to have my student loans paid off soon since the interest is crazy high - 6.7% or something.

My X-runner is only at 1.99% so i dont mind stretching it.
