Chase bays= there's your problem lol my guess is they didnt use the factory colored wires, take a pic of the plug so we can compare it to ours. Then we can help figure out which of your wires matches the factory wires

And the 70 numbers you must have been testing them backwards. They are either grounds or signals. U will never have anything over 12v. (Shouldn't anyways unless you have a big electrical problem, or are checking alt voltage which ranges from 13-14.5v)

Dang flick I logged back in to edit the post and you hit it up quick. Man I have alot in the car over the past 4 yrs putting it together and going thru the weak links, i.e. marlin crawler goodies in the trans, rear end to j30 axles are dss 500hp bars etc...

Has a 67mm turbo .81 a/r, FIC -6 duel feed rail and 785cc FIC injectors, areo 340lph and -8 from tank to -6 split to rail. AEM meth kit, V1, tru boost. Lots more I need to make an add to list it all. overall the car is in good shape paint is 2yrs old and dash has like a 1/4 in crack in it by the defrost vent on the pass side other than that dash is perfect.

All the swap components intercooler, alum. ds and everything are Tech 2 swap parts my total first purchase from tech 2 was 10k including motor and trans. wiring is tech 2 also.

13k obo is going to be the price, probably have around 18-19k total invested.

Sick deal! Do you have a build thread? Pretty sure I've spent close to 12k and my car isn't moving yet and you have some real sweet parts there

When I post the add up this weekend I will include the build pics I do have and current pics of the car and everything. Just need to move on for a couple of years and I may build another or get a Supra or... an IS-F lol. Well pass the word along down there in south fl. the add will be up sat. night. And you guys arent that far from me I've been to miami twice in the past 6 months.

Car made 593whp and 501 ft/lbs last month.

Yeah unfortunately most people are not able to pay a fair price for a completed 240sx-2J project. Even you dumped $20k you are probably not going to get anything above $13-14k unless you get lucky. Gl with the sale B92...Im rooting for ya.

Well the harness is good just have no spark,
And I back probed the connector ill probe it from the inside and take a picture also

I also checked continuity on the crank sensor and its working properly
Goes from about 8 then jumps to 13 then back down when cranking
I have power to the coils but no spark

Power to the cam sensors
Injectors are pulsing

I'm getting frustrated,
I'm beginning to believe its the coil packs but idk

That is one problem with their harness, is the color matching. The next problem is they don't specify between US or JDM harness. I have a chase bays harness and in going to compare it to mine when j get my motor back together. My harness works so if the chase bays doesn't then I will know their harness is the problem.

*minor has corroded wires and broken connectors

I highly highly highly doubt your coils are bad, 1 maybe 2 but all 6. It's either the ignitor isn't getting power or it's bad and not sending the signal to the coils. A pic would help drastically since your wiring color is different.

so on my 1jz vvti, i wanted to replace the front main oil seal, and i tried to get the gear off the crank, and it would not budge, so i stuck a screw driver behind it and tried to pry it off and chipped off a tooth... kind of wish i just kept the damn thing the way it was...

does anyone know if this is repairable, and if not where i can get one for a decent price?

ahhhh!

You're not supposed to pry on it lol. You thread in two bolts and pull it with that. Anyway if you have the part you broke off it can be welded back on or you can get a used one.

To remove the crank gear "cog" you need a puller. Check this thread out, has visuals and you may be able to make one if you can't find one to rent, like from auto zone. You'll need the correct thread bolts and need to be long enough.

2JZ timing belt crank cog removal? Am I doing it wrong?

And I would buy a new or used one to replace, not try to repair that. Should be cheap.

Harmonic Balancer Puller

Powerbuilt 648436 Harmonic Balancer Puller - Amazon.com

You'll need to find long enough bolts and the correct thread type if none in the kit work.

What engine are you running, cuz I think that trigger wheel came on 2JZGE OBD2 engines.

The part number should be 13521-46040. 36 minus 2 teeth gear.

You can technically get it at any toyota dealership, But I'd check forum sponsors first, like Elmhurst Toyota on supraforums. But the part should run around $60 new from from a few searches I've done.

Or you can find someone parting out a 2JZGE OBD2 non-vvti or vvti engine. Which came in any 96+ non-turbo Supra, SC300, GS300, IS300.

Ok so I went ahead and got some info off all data from work,
It told me the resistance that each one of the components are supposed to have

Camshaft sensors: 835-1400 ohms
Mine has 1135 ohms

Coil packs: .54-.84 ohms
Mine have anywhere between .65-.80 ohms

Crank sensor: 835-1400 ohms
Mine has 1250 ohms

So none of those things are the problem
So now I'm back to my igniter and grounds

These are the grounds I have:
1 from harness to back of intake
1 from back of intake to body
1 from back of head to body
1 from negative battery post to body

Am I missing any ??

And here are the pictures of the igniter for reference
[IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]

I'm hoping some one on here can help me out

Also
I tested the resistance for the igniter across the board
Doing the top and bottom pin from left to right like so
1 2 3
| | |
| | |
So on and so forth

Here is what I got
1: nothing
2: nothing
3: nothing
4: 2.41
5: 2.41
6: 2.41

Then it moves into the small 4 pin socket

1: 43.0
2: nothing

I was wondering what people are running the brake booster too?(s13-2jzgte) I have been having issues with my brakes for a while and I think Its ran the wrong way.or maybe the brake booster is bad ? I have mine ran into the top port on the intake manifold and when I go WOT I lose brakes for a second or 2 .... super sketchy. At first I assumed it was heat issues because Im RHD but I don't think that's it. I heat wrapped everything lines included as well as heat shields and it didn't change.

does it have the one way check valve in the line, if not under boost the brakes will fight back at you and the booster could bust, even with the valve under boost you lose the "booster" since it works off of vac.
