I have a set of 17x9+24 cobra 03 wheels with 245/40/17 tires I just picked up for my s14. The problem is I cant put them on since my 300zx calipers hit in the front. Should I pick up some spacers but then are my front wheels going to poke out a shit load from the front fenders ??

How did this guy do it?? with no spacers!

Here is the exact wheels that I have currently

Because they're 2 different style wheels? Just because the specs are the same width and offset wise doesnt mean they'd have the same back spacing for brake caliper clearance.

I'm considering running this on an s13 with rolled/pulled fenders and low ride height

18x9 et 16 235/40 front
18x10 et20 265/35 rear
3-4 degree camber front zero-1 degree camber rear

Does this sound about right? Tires will be g-force comp 2's

front will work, rear you might have to go up to -2.5ish camber! i ran 17x9 et12 all around with about -4 camber in the front and -2.5 in the rear with rolled fenders, but in the end it comes down to tire size and thickness

so to get the camber im after in the rear , you think like 25-30 et?

also, do you think those tire widths will have similar minor stretch on those widths?

hey i have a question, just picked up some new rims for my s14:
F:17x8.5 +20
R:17x10 +20
what tire size should i go with for a nice & reliable poking stretch. thinking about going F:205/40/17 & R:215/45/17 that sound ok?
thanks

You can fit those, but I'd probably go less sidewall since its on an S13 (smaller wheel wells). For the rear, you can fit those width tires just have to pull the fenders more if you don't want camber. But personally, if you're going for fat tires in the rear, kick it down to +25 for less poke.

Too undersized for S14s sidewall/overall diameter wise. 205/45-17 and 235/40-17 is about the same diameter wise, but if you decide to stay with 215/45-17 in the rear, that would work too.

It will be but not impossible. All depends on what tires, who's mounting it and the extra sidewall on 17s should help.

I have a 300zx and want to put 350z anniversary wheels 18x8 all around is there any modifications I need to do to put them on? Like pulling fenders and such? Alto what tire size would be best the OEM tires are too tall IMO. Thanks I've been a s chassis guy since the start and this is my first z lol

Well, it never hurts to roll the fenders but pulling it...simply put, Fuck no! Its not that far off from stock Z32 TT wheel specs.

this is 18x9 +12 and 18x10.5 +18, although not in the tire sizes you are looking for but gives you an idea of how it sits on stock metal.

I'm sure I'm not the first one, how did you get your hood like that? Or did you but it that way?

Hmmm interesting, you think i made a bad choice on the wheel size/specs? i have 25+15mm spacers to play with fitment one they come in. 40's will be too slammed and gappy, 45's chunky n prop rub. i also have 20mm front fenderes and 30mm rear overs, have a feeling its not gona be enough to get them flush. still undecided on sizes but which tires do u guys recomend with a good looking strong sidewall? thanks again

Honestly, for an S14, rims you got are pretty weak sauce (17x8.5). Also, all a matter of preference but I always try to keep my overall diameter close to the stock S14 sizing as possible (205/55-16s). Lastly, 17s always look small on S14s, unless you're running 17x9.5 or 10j all around.

Math isn't your strongest suit. And car styling isn't either.

Whether your car is a S13 or 14, 8" +20 looks lame on stock body. And then you're going to add another 20mm fenders to make them sink further? What's with the huge width stagger?

If your car can fit 17x10 +25 now, adding 40mm overs and wanting the same fitment in the rear will require a 40mm spacer. Surprising? I know.

Also, wheel fitment depends on tire size and desired alignment specs. So if you've got more info on what you'd like to run, you can use this thread as a "will this work? and if not, what do I need to do?" Until then, research, read up, and see what set ups work.

Why do people keep insisting on running less than 9" wide wheels on these cars? If you're so adamant on doing that, atleast go buy some OEM wheels.

ohh sorry i didn't see that you wrote pulled and rolled fender. with a pulled fender you could maybe make it even with et20 and the camber you wanted(depending on pull), but those tires are too wide they will have almost no stretch on a 9inch wheel i'd go with a 205/45 or 215/40 and on a 10 inch i'd go with a 235/40 or 245/40. plus if you run square looking tires(no stretch) you will run into rubbing problems if you are planning on going low, stretched tires help A LOT!!

It'd help if you provide a little more information about your car. Like...

-current wheel specs
-desired alignment

Just gives an idea where to steer you.

But to shout some numbers out, 245/40 but you'll need a decent sized pull. 20-40mm depending on how much camber you plan on using.

It'll work but I'm not a fan of super pulls because with that much of a pull, you may as well just go with overs or not even try to get them to fit at all.

10" would be the largest I'd try to fit into S13 fenders.

I'm looking to run 18x9.5 j0 on the front of an s13 hatch. Car will be low. Can I run a 225/40 ish tire and keep ~-4deg. camber? No problems with rolling/pulling of needed.

On an S13, you wanna kick it down to smaller tire sidewall wise. But you might still run into some clearance issue. But nothing a big ass hammer wont fix.

Well, like Zooopreme already said, not under stock fenders. You'd need over fenders. You can't pull S13 rear fenders to fit those, unless you don't mind getting an S13 fender dent.

Just ordered the wheels. 18x9.5 +12. I should be pretty good with 225/35 on an s13 hatch? (~-4 degrees front, ~-2 degrees rear)

^^^11.5 all around or just the rear? If its just the rear, how much room do you have under the overfenders? No way in hell this would fit on stock fenders.
