they are kts coilovers, i have probably about 10mm clearance on the inside. i didnt have to bow the overs that much at all, but i did have to shave the lip off of them..... at a zero offset i dont think youl be able to tuck 335's with a 50mm over. unless your trying to seriously bow your overfenders out, and i think it wouldnt look good..... |

Ahh ok thanks.
I have kts coilovers also on my s13 coupe. I also have an s14 rear subframe to swap in and that'll push me out another 5mm each side. I really want to go 335's in the rear like you. I guess +20 it is then. |

Test fitting the new rubber so I can put the over fenders on:
15x10 +13, 28x13.5-15 (A little bigger than a 325) I haven't checked the tire pressures yet, but they look a little over inflated (tire shop said 20psi, but I need to confirm). Also, camber hasn't been adjusted as of yet. My guess is it's going to be damn close with 0 camber and I might need a 5mm spacer or something.

godzillarb, that looks sick. is that for road/track racing or drag racing? can't tell if the skinny up front is permanent or just for rolling.
if cornering is involved, my only concern would be tire deflection causing contact with the coilover collars...?

Haha. The tool that I bought this car from was a wanna be drift king. I was going to take it off, but keeping it on there for irony's sake at the moment.

I'm concerned about the sidewall deflection as well. We'll see what it looks like once the suspension is set.

Holy shit I love your car. Are you going to go back and reinforce the chassis, or is there structural rigidity lost there? :O |

I had to run a spacer. You will hit also. You should be able to get away with a 5mm spacer up front only. Roll and maybe mild pull depending on tires. I put 285/30/18 on the rear and want more tire back there. Roll and more extreme pull haha. Last edited by Black R; 07-30-2012 at 02:29 PM.. |

Yeah, the back end isn't even close to being done. I'm going to re-enforce everything for the fuel cell, fuel pumps, radiator ducting, and possibly an oil tank for the dry sump if I put it back there. Plus, if I need a parachute in the future, I'll need something solid to mount it to.

Getting more work and supporting mods to hopefully hit 1100+WHP all boost, wish me luck! RB26 forged internals, head work, PT7175 billet PURPOSE OF CAR: Street | Highway superstar PICTURES: 2011 with 295/45/17 MT ET II's on SSR Type C 17x10.5 Then after paint and raised height 1.2" so wheels wouldn't rub coil overs and tires wouldn't rub fenders or rear valence while going over bumps. 2012 with 275/40/17 MT ET I's on SSR Type C 17x8.5 How the replacement wheels look like, but tires are obviously going to be a lot bigger. This was my daily for about half a year. Too much stress to drive a lowered car around DFW, and way too much effort. These are the tires I want to put on the iForged, but they may be a little too wide as the 295/45 are one inch thinner than the 305/35 (11.5 vs 12.5) on a stock fender that has been rolled and pulled not too aggressively. Mounted on a 9.5 wheel. Anybody out there who drags S14's, what is the max width of tire can you run under a stock rolled/pulled S14 rear wheel well? For top speed, do you prefer 26" or 27"? For those of you who make serious power in an S14 (over 500WHP and run over 150MPH) which do you prefer? iForged 18x10 with either of the following: (26x12.5) / (27x12.5) / (27x10.5) / (26x9.5) vs Weld RT-S 15x9 with either of the following: (26x11.5) / (28x12.5) / (28x13.1) I'm not looking to go any type of widebody, the most I would do is cut the fenders a little and add some flare. She is going to be a highway star as I said, so going straight and going fast. I'm hoping to break 200MPH for the TX Mile, and earn respect at TX2K13. Friend's S14 that made 800WHP at only 6500RPM/28lbs stock block fourth gear There's more action in my YouTube channel for those who want to see what my previous setup did. Stock motor with power necessities, PT6765 and supporting mods on PFC D-Jetro conservative tune. TX2K11 videos made 550WHP on C16 at 18lbs Street videos made 450ishWHP on 93 pump at 15.6lbs |

Sick build for sure. What I plan to run and have sitting in my garage are the 26x11.5x16 MT ET streets with Rx7 TT rims for the rear.
I would ask the guys on this forum as well if your looking for some more information: http://zilvia.net/f/chat/269702-drag...s-chime-7.html Also, Babillaracing (Omar) is a wealth on knowledge when it comes to big power S14 chassis and if hes not busy he usually responds to PMs right away. Nice guy to talk to and if you check out his build thread you can see he is not playing around with his build. Prob the most detailed and one of the most complete builds I have seen to date. |

15x11 is too wide for my taste, I was thinking just a 15x8.25 or 15x9.25 (whichever extra is added after the 8 and 9) to support the 275/50 MT ET Streets. 15x10 if I can somehow run the 295/55 or 325/50. Gearing is stock R33 RB25/Z32 TT gears, if I'm correct they're identical? Rear end ratio is 3.54:1 on a Q45. Unknown trap, but I have ran Foxbody Mustang 5.0's that supposedly run 10's and kept up and/or slowly walked them. |

I have seen S14 bodies running rear 15x10 7" BS with no issues and slightly rolled fenders. I do agree that 15x11 would be too wide and would stick out.

I want to start by APOLOGIZING just in case this is not the correct thread for me to be posting my question. But I really admire the maximum tire look. And i'm looking to setup my car up as follow. Im looking to run 9''-9.5'' in the FRONT and 9.5"-10'' in the REAR. I want to achieve the maximum amount of tire without having to run TONS of -camber. So whats Zilvia's opinion on offsets that I should run front/rear???
Chassis: S13 Suspension: Megan Streets & RUCA STOCK BODY with minor roll in the rear. But I have no issue with rolling the fronts and slightly pulling the rear. Thanks in advance. And sorry again =) |

^Will not fit. You will have to run -1.5 in rear maybe -2.. and in front -3 to -4 AND pull/roll BOTH front and rear to fit sticky 255/40/17 on 17x9.5+18 i know ive done it with rpf1s... and nt01s
