not low enough, and WAYYY too much camber for the fitment, the rubbing your hearing is prob the inside of the wheels hitting your strut or a control arm, drop it more, get an alignment and if that dosnt work get smaller tires. but im pretty sure ur rubbing from too much - camber, my Z did the same thing on the driver side (-3.1) with a quick tweak to -2.1 fixed everything. The rubbing I hear is 2 things, one is the outside tire sidewall rubbing inside rear fender well, and then sometimes the inside lip of my wheel somehow rubs on the coilover threads, shaving metal off the wheel. If i get any smaller tire the gap will look even more crappy in the rear. I just am not sure. |

Are you sure that you've setup your suspension to get more neg camber as it compresses in the rear?
Jack your car up off the ground, take your coilover off, and put a jack underneath the wheel. Jack the wheel up and move it up and down the entire range and see what it's doing. |

Maybe if you run like huge balloon tires with some spacers or something... Otherwise, wack. Those wheel sizes were cool maybe in like 2000?

^yeah, sure Falkon, whatever.
khmer, if you're going to type a comeback to something I've said, please take the time to make it understandable. Thanks. If they are just "winter rims" why even bother trying to make them flush? Especially something as thin as 6.5" wide. Now don't get me wrong, I can understand thin wheels for snow and ice, after all Rally cars run thin wheels for snowy courses. Of course, they are also running studded wheels, so they want to penetrate the snow and grip into the ground below it. So, unless you are driving on unplowed, dirt roads all the time (which you may be, nothing wrong with that) then I'd think you would something wider then pizza cutters under your car. Thus my answer, wider wheels is what you need. Other than that I am just baffled why you would buy something even smaller than stock wheels.
