What do you plan on doing? Just a fresh rebuild? Or going to build the motor?

It was a sad sad day yesterday...

1-4 were @ 170-175psi
5 was @ 150psi
6 was @ 120psi

Planning on the "cheapest" route just an OEM rebuild if possible with ARP head studs to hold a little more boost in the future.

Just trusted the seller I guess but since Saturday we ran another test and the numbers seem to have gotten better somehow... Going to retest tomorrow with a fresh battery (battery died)

do a test, then change the oil to see if it gets better.

but ya a GE block with some gte pistons and eagle rods would be the budget type rebuild if you are looking to make a little power.

Just re-ran the test and all cylinders look good! Just need to get the AEM V2 setup properly now and get it on the road

Hey, how are the solid mounts working for you? Any feed back on vibrations? I am sure you haven't driven the car that much or at all..? I am looking at the same mounts for my setup.

Drove it around for a few hours yesterday doing some street tuning and stuff and honestly when the car is idling is about the only time its noticeable to me... the JZ runs pretty smooth so its not terrible

I'm pretty happy with it so far. Haven't gotten to really get on it but its fairly quiet just cruising.

Been a while since the last update. Ill have some more pics and updates this weekend.

Picked up a set of 18x10.5+15 Varrstoen ES8's for the rear

(Hopefully get those mounted this weekend)

Used some fittings to plumb the brake booster vacuum from the top of the manifold

Ill get a pic of it installed later

Finally got a trashed wheel bearing replaced with a fresh Timken unit! The wheel had play in all directions... bad

And more than anything ive just been driving it here and there to put some miles on it when I can

Test fitted the ES8's with 235/40/18's - needs a slight pull to clear the tires
