Is it me or does Devil May Cry just not fill the boots of expectation it has to fill? Maybe the anime producers should talk with the game developers some more... this show kinda sucks.

Other new stuff

Zombie Loan... 7/10

I will pick up Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei in a bit

CODE-E looks interesting, a girl who conducts electricity inside her body... I think it can be a hit.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai continues to report well but I couldn't stand watching the first season... weird story. supposedly second season fills in a lot of the gaps.

Took a look at small screen caps of Zombie Loan and they did nothing for me.
BTW that's how I usually pick what I watch, If the art/animation looks cliche, magical girl or harem style I'll usually pass - nothing against those genres, just not me.

Seto no Hanayome...

the humor is pretty easy to catch with, not like Combat butler which requires you to be an otaku.

Here I will put it like this: Jr high kid gets saved by a pretty mermaid girl who then takes the steps to be engaged with him since he found out she is a mermaid, and its that or sudden death.

Her family is a Yakuza gang(the mob), and a bunch of other interesting characters come into the show.
just watch at least 3 episode and I hope you will be hooked by its comedy.

Saw the teaser for Baccano! and that looks really interesting. Gangster theme drama set in prohibition era New York.

man I like that Number 3 warrior girl of claymore... she is one of the few that is not insane in that crazy show.

Just got done with episode one, looks like potential to be a good show, plot thus far seems to off a bit so for those that get confused with complex story lines... I recommend waiting for episode 3.

Yeah, that's pretty interesting. Lot of 20 somethings. What more amazing is that there are a lot more girls - and a lot of them attractive - that watch Anime. Wasn't always the case.

Claymore is now officially atop my list of current anime. Those Awakened Beings kick ass.

Bleach currently blows.

Ookiku Furikabutte, Hanada Shoune Shi and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei have been added to the rotation.

Thinking about dropping Umisho off my list. No substance just fan service.

Yeah the cute girls are mostly lurking leechers... dont find them talking much.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei - keep missing the releases on that one.

Zombie loan - "meh".... there are some more shows I watch but nothing worth mentioning out of the new ones.

What's your take on Zombie Loan? Read the synopsis and going by screen caps looks very run of the mill.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei has a lot of promise. Really far out and non-sensical, very dark humor... mostly style over substance but still manages to be cool. The first episode was kind of meh but the second one - about stalkers - was funny.
