Dont like the look of a hard tucked rim. id rather raise the rear arch for the 19's or go down to an 18. Pics above have some big ass tires on the back so i still need to change them out to see where my ride height will be at. Car has a nasty fuckin rake right now. Also only about half of that rear tire was on the dyno car has plenty of camber, needed to max the RUCA out so i could fit the wheels.

I'm getting three MKVIII engines, one is being sold to a buddy who liked my Idea. the other is going in the car w/a TR 3650, and the final one, the Intech motor is going on a stand and getting built for SC. It's amazing how cheap parts are for these 4.6L... as far as getting the SC to work, i can't do it with the earlier engines, they have the NPI DOHC heads, but all later DOHC's came with the PI heads from late 98 on to 04, with minor mods for the terminators... still, you bring up points that raise my eyebrows. I'm more of a pushrod ford guy, so that's where the majority of my ford exp lives... cost to even drop in a N/A 290hp/295tq teksid is amazingly cheap.. Lincoln DOHC 32v 4.6L - $200 TR 3650 trans - $500 98+ mustang GT engine harness/ECU - $60 and i know the road to 6 hundo is rough, but relatively easily attainable VS getting the same power out of a SR/KA/RB.

Marc your car is ridiculously nice, can we get a hd walk round vid plz
Fitted my new exhaust, still quite close to the ground, and i want to go lower ImageUploadedByTapatalk1339008534.848159.jpg It's not bolted up properly yet (no engine) but I can't see me gaining much room from how it sits now (I have hung it with cable ties at the front to stop stretching the hanger rubbers at the rear) |

the only real difference between the two is the fabric, the fakes material is more like soft cotton while the real bride feels more silky-ish. but the shell itself is pretty much the same, other than that my real bride has the silver flake shell and the fake is plain black.

thanks, and yeah its ED duraflex, it fits pretty bad... the front bumper isnt too bad but the rest is just not that good. one of my side skirts is warped and like you said the rear bumper over hangs, i tried sanding some of it down but it was just too much. But the good thing is that if i obliterate this kit i couldnt care less.

That shits gona be loud, enjoy that haha. Anyone have an exhaust recomendation for me? I want something quieter than my shotgun, something with the push-together joints rather than flanges would be awesome for my ride height too.

well, I'd recommend you just getting a custom one made then, you'll be much happier with end result if anything. also look into oval exhaust pipes if you want serious low low clearance.
but this maybe in your interest as well. cheap and it works. Exhaust band clamp for slip / lap joint - Bimmerforums - The Ultimate BMW Forum JEGS Stainless Steel Lap Band Exhaust Clamps - JEGS Walker Torctite Exhaust Clamps - SummitRacing.com Just a suggestion, as I am thinking about doing it myself.

Custom is an option, problem being theres only one guy anywhere local who builds exhausts and he wont buid me a s/s system. I know a good welder though so I may have a chat with him.
Those joint are what I had in mind, pretty sure theres a few off the shelf systems that come like that? buddy club type iii maybe??? My main problem is I don't want mega loud so I'd need a box in there somewhere, something like this 326 car would work if I went custom I guess

Vibrant Performance 1142 - Vibrant Performance Ultra-Quiet Resonators - Overview - SummitRacing.com
double up on resonators! haha, but seriously, look through summitracing for resonators, and you should be able to get a good idea on what you should be looking for. I myself have been thinking about exhaust setup for a while with the LS1 motor swap, one of the many things that I got to look over before I even do the swap[I've had the swap parts and complete motor/transmission/harness for about 3 years now...] so for me, this is what I'm thinking I'm going to do. 2.5" to 3" Y-pipe collector Exhaust cut off[more for the "security" reason, no one is going to be able to drive the car away with open headers with out getting pulled over with in 10 miles let a long waking up the whole neighborhood] one large or two smaller sized resonator connected my current Circuit Sports dual tip exhaust muffler[I love the look of this exhaust, just can't picture anything else on my car] I have tossed the idea of stainless steel piping and all materials for the exhaust build and also with the V-band clamps for the flanges, and the pro's of having a stainless steel exhaust piping isn't enough for me to justify the trouble I'm going to have to go through then to just use aluminized steel piping. so just to make things easier for my self, I have set my mind in getting all aluminized steel parts for my exhaust. now if you piece together all your parts, you have option to have awesome looking exhaust tip setup that looks like it'll be super loud with out being super loud. MagnaFlow Exhaust Products - For Trucks, Suv's, American Muscle, Diesel, & Sport Compact Vehicles ^example of "good" looking tips when used as dual tip next to each other, it'll look somewhat like works9 or even isis exhaust if you want the visual of it. ^that's my friend's exhaust setup. gets you an idea. maybe I have opened up some options for you MarcD
