I thought the Greddy Zenki lip is made of Poly? I remember seeing somebody eating a cone with it, shit popped back out like nothing happened. Guess they changed it thru the years into hard plastic.

And it IS poly Urithane... but a weird hard one, the buy literally parked the wheel up to the parking barrier.. I'm surprised the lip stayed on the bumper O.o

I only proposed it as an interim solution while he was saving money for a Navan Bumper. Why would he go out and spend money on a 'real lip' if he's just going to end up running a different bumper in a month or two?

True that a stock Zenki lip can be found for pretty cheap these days.

But a nothing crazy Home Depot lip is better than a Zenki bumper with NO lip, that stuff is just hideous lol

Just picked this up.

1995 Silvia K's edition.

Its my first S-Chassis car. I've been told I'm jumping in at a great starting point. Being that it's K's, it's factory SR20det, working digital climate control, and came off the boat with the VeilSide body kit on it. Plus its fun going through drive thru's backwards.

Its the little Japanese things that are amusing to me and make the car fun and interesting.

I'll most likely be taking the kit off for something more conservative and adding something a bit more exciting in the wheel dept.

So, I guess this is my Zenki intro thread. Heres the obligatory pic.

This gold zenki is prob one of THE cleanest in the state of Florida... It's like a time capsule from 1996, made with a 1996 LE. Apexi stand alone powered S14 SR that looks like it came in the car from the facotry... simply amazing..

Well they guy I bought it from said that it was a full bn kit but the sides and rear had origin stamped on the inside but the front bumper didnt have any manufacturer marks on the inside. So I'm not sure if it is a real bn or what exactly it is

Yup, why the fuck would I wanna spend money on a stupid lip when I got a full Kouki front end to put on and an RB swap to throw money into? $5 lip fixed staggered height difference between the skirts and the bumper. Besides, not like S14s are dime a dozen out here. If a stock lip fell on my lap, I probably would have put that on but that good sir, is not the case.

Eh, not a big deal. Just figured I'd explain. I just wondered what the fuck happened to the original lip. The fucking studs were still on the bottom of the bumper when I got it. I tried to buy a lip from this lady on base. She drove this stock S14 on base, posted a note on her car to see if she wanted some money for the lip...no dice.

I just see too many around FL, that are slammed, rattle canned, and the HD lip as a permanent addition, like it's something to look at or write home about...


Get this, I saw a lip on CL locally, told my buddy about it. He sent me a text, said he just paid $50 for a brand new, raw and unpainted, still in the box/nissan labeled bag.

Not sure, they picked up up from a buy here pay here lot that advertised it simply as "1996 240SX, with japanese racing engine"...

only defining things on the car is the S14 SR, crossover tube (people barely keep those), Blitz FMIC, with the bumper notched absolutely perfectly around the pipng, coupers, etc etc. It's got 740cc "red tops", APEXi PowerFC, and a commander in car, beside center console with the cable ran under the carpet. Rest of the car is 100% stock, black leather seats, with a simple digital boost controller on the dash. Looks like one would look in say, 98, it's just mint.

Did some drifting this weekend. wrecked my front bumper real quick.


But i got some extras laying around.


Ill glass the W9 and get it back on. this one may get rattled white for now so its not terrible.

Hoping to paint the car sooner than later tho.
