then you're asking a stupid question.

i'm pretty sure (legally) tire shops are not allowed to stretch tires over the rim because it's unsafe.

friends/contacts/money is how i get it done. some shops just don't care as long as you supply them with the tires.

I don't know how it is in Canada but in socal my experience has been that its not so much "they aren't allowed to do it" as it is they don't know how to do it or don't have the proper tools "cheetah" to do it. if a tire shop has a cheetah, they are likely able to mount smaller tires......i have not spent more or had to find a contact/friend to mount stretched tires in socal.

Some of the older tire machines like the older corgis don't really enable you to mount super-stretch tires. All of the newer machines with multi arm is what you need. Many shops won't do it because they don't have the experience with stretch tires andthey don't want be held Liable for shredding a tire bead on one of your precious low pros.

stretched tires arent any harder to mount than a non stretched tire so it really has nothing to do with the arms and attachments on the newer machines...it's about getting enough air into the tire fast enough for it to bead up and hold air so you can fill it up all the way...basically what a cheetah is is a small tank of air and a nozzle that you aim and blast a fuckton of air into the tire with a quickness with in turn pushes the sidewalls out and with the pressure inside seals them against the wheel so it can hold air.

We tried blasting 215/35 Kumhos and also Falkens I think on my 18x10's, neither would stay on though.

incorrect

more spacers front and rear, lower more, pull fender, and try to get the least amount of camber

this would be awesome..
