Okay, so I'm heading home to St. Louis on I-70 from the meet in KC. I'd say we were about 140 miles east of KC when we come up on a tractor trailer. Its one of those enclosed vehicle trailers, no big deal except for the fact that its rust colored like those international shipping containers. I notice there's a white decal decal on the back that says "BLITZ". So I get closer and it definately has a lightning bolt for the "I", its a decal for the Japanese tuner/parts maker BLITZ. What the f*kk??? That's also when I notice that on the other side of the back is a blue "NISMO" logo. Not the Nismo Japan with the red sun for the "O" but the Nismo International with the "jagged" letters. What in the He11??? There was also a Koni logo in the middle.

Okay, this trailer wasn't fancy. Like I said ,it was rust colored
just like those containers they use to ship stuff across the oceans on container ships. It even had the reinforced lift points on the top. The only other markings were "IVT" International Vehicle Transporters. The tags looked to be California commercial trailer ones.

So what was inside, that question keeps running through my head. Was it Skylines going to some race out east? Or was it some lucky bastards getting Skylines delivered from MotoRex? If I wasn't so tired and wanting to get home and rest, I would've just followed it until it had to stop for fuel or for a bathroom break and beg the driver to tell me what was in back or better yet to show me. There wasn't a tamper seal or padlock so there wouldn't be a problem with him showing me especially if I offered him a $20. Oh well, my GF took some B/W pics of it so I'll see how those turn out. He must thought she was crazy because she has hanging out the window taking pics

ahha well if it really was a skyline and he knew the rarity of it in the US he wouldn't think your gf was that crazy. If i saw that i probably would have followed it for a while. You are gonna have one heck of a dream tonight over what you think is in that trailer. Just imagine if it was a skyline and the guy let you go in it and see what was under the hood.

i'm guessing a race car was in there. nissan doesn't have any factory teams left in the states as far as i know. so some rich guy probably bought the old factory backed car and needed a trailor for it. i know the local ferrari that i work for every once in a while has an 18wheeler that they transport various panoz GTS 1's, spec racers, M3's, and whatever else they need to and from the track. you shoulda got plate numbers and attempted to track it. did you notice the decals on the side that say where it goes? yeah, that's pretty fuckin sweet though.

The container didn't have any markings on the side. I imagine the purple tractor hauling it was just some independent that had no affiliation with the trailer. He probably just hooked up to it and hauled it. Forgot the name on the tractor but it had like a frog logo.
