S14 Greddy Intake manifold owners...
Looks like Greddy took down all the pdf instructions in their tech section and could not find any info on the ver.1 intake manifold.
I'm helping a friend out who has a Greddy S14 Intake manifold (1st gen Just the upper plenum). On the rear of the plenum there is what appears to be 2 capped off ports for what I am assuming can be used for vacuum? If so, can it be used for a boost gauge and/or boost controller? The 2 ports I am referring to are the ones I circled in the picture below. |

thats a great place to reference boost in the intake manifold. I would dedicate one to the fuel pressure regulator. One for the blow-off valve. The biggest one for the brake booster.
You can T off the blow-off valve line for something like boost gauges boost controllers etc... but I would not because there may be a decline in performance. Thats why the FPR gets a dedicated vacuum line on the OEM intake, if you ever noticed. |
