This is one of my favorite build threads thus far on zilvia. It is definitely inspiring. Makes me want to fix all the body defects and broken aero on my s13.

Thanks for the support guys, I can't wait, when I can going to first cruise with this but I have lot of things to do before.

I bought the another VLSD with outputshafts

When car was in painthsop, I welded the engine stand for the CA

wirh 3D printed bushings

victor reinz gasket set

STP black silver sound dampening and heatshield for the inginebay and cables

Detail of the gasdoor

Cavity protection applied

I use selfadhesive foil to protect the new paintjob

Refurbished fueltank

Doorhandles assembled with welded bolt

Wrinkle paint used for intake

Oil catch tanks from Ebay, one of them I like to use for coolant reservoir after light modifications.

Refurbished handbrake shoes

Assembling the handbrake, and I printed the prototype of my wiper pivot mount for s13, I redesigned them for new bearings.

I am just blown away by this. When I saw the first photos of the car, I thought this was a joke. You win IMO. This is true dedication and it's really paid off.

I think the previous poster is right - I'd eliminate/remove the ABS all together. It's bulky, heavy and ugly. Definitely takes away from what you're doing.

Maybe you're right, but I think the ABS in the car is not useless, its not a racecar and also not a driftcar, for cruising and fun ride I dont see the reason why remove it. Ugly is not a real reason to remove the functional thing from the car. But its my opinion and I am bulding the car for myself, by the way thank you for the comments I appreciate it so thanks for the support.

Been following this build for a while. Its very nice and seems to have a well thought out build process to end result. To you, the build serves a purpose and you are happy with it. Looks great so far!!

I am curious if you can send me the 3d print file/link so i can have a friend print 2 new wiper mounts for my car. i really like the bearing install instead of bushings. Did you also print new ball joint inserts for the arms?

Yeah its galvanized zinc, it looks like this before.. but the spraypaint is also enought, just you cant paint the inside of the tube, with zinc is also done. btw, your enginebay wiring looks awesome, I am planning something similar too.

Yea, mine is covered in surface rust but I figure it's already 28 years old and no where near 'too rusty'. I just like the small details nobody will ever see so I'll give it some paint.

After a few years away from the scene i am actually re-doing my wiring right now. I've learned a lot since the first time..

Keep it up, good work.

There is a great line between a builder like this and ones who just buy bolt on parts. I love watching builds like these because when I get stressed out with my car it gives me motivation. I like seeing peoples ideas and them bringing their creativity to their car.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the comments, these words are inspiring me. I know I am posting pics occasionally but I don't have too much time for the project, only a day per week. But there is some new pics now, I need to finish the rear brakes on boths sides and i am also working on the custom front arms, to fit 39mm ball joints.

Parking brake is working on this side with refurbished brake shoes

Testing the 60mm spacers

I think it works perfectly with little more negative camber

Gasdoor on the place

Details...
