I've been thinking...
I can't make up my mind on which route I want to take to get to my boosted 300hp goal.  So...I was planning a road trip for Spring Break...basically just mosy around the SouthEast and go places I've always wanted to go but never have...but here's my idea:  Anybody with a KA-T or SR swap (I doubt there's any CA's but if so, you too) in the Southeast/EastCoast (maybe Midwest) that wouldn't mind me stopping by and checking out their car.....go for a ride, maybe a test drive?  I seriously think the only way I can make a decision is if I experience each one first hand.  Plus It'd be kinda cool to meet some of the people on the forums.  Anyone?

My boyfriend will have his XS turbo kit installed on his S14 in about a month or two... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> we also have quite a couple of SRs around my area, and we might have a spring meet by the end of March.

we got one guy with an sr, some people have been talking about so there migt be a few more soon and  there are  a few turbos in the makeing out here on logisland if dat helps at all.

New York's a  bit farther than I was planning to travel...D.C. is probably my limit for the EastCoast.  But I might just be willing to travel to the Windy City.

Hey Lance - can I introduce to you uuninja (only clean up left on competed KA+T) and crazycuban (finishing up install of s14 SR).  Two fine upstanding members of the board who happen to be located in the DC metro area - if you should get up this far.

Too bad spring break falls when it does... otherwise, perhaps we could have had a meet up at VIR or something <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>  

BTW: I rode in uu's KA+T yesterday... it's running rich & has serious exhaust leaks, but HOLY FVCK that thing feels fast!

Yeah, my S14 will be done within the week, assuming I don't hit up against any other annoying problems.  Depending on when your break is (mine is the last full week in March, I'll be out of town) I'd be happy to show you mine...

Or make it a big road trip and attend the 2002 240SX national meet in Socal. Lots of SR and KAT cars to pick rides from, especially fun on Streets of Willow track.

I'll be there with my KA+T.

hehe...as much as I'd like to visit SoCal, I think that's a bit far, not to mention out of budget.
However, I might be able to pull off a trip to DC...got some friends up there I might visit, anyway.  We'll see.
BTW, my Spring Break is early--March 9-16.

DC is only a hop, skip, and marathon away from me.  If anything does wind up getting pulled together, I'd love to show up anyway.  Even if I can't bring my 240.

I could tell the new owner to bring her though.  Heh, heh.  =)

But, seriously, let everyone know, because I'd make the drive just to do the meet 'n greet thing.

I know there's a meet at the Pentagon this weekend, but I see uu and crazy with some regularity.  Should be no problem getting us down.  From past experience, I'd guess we could get a few more.  Check out the Yahoo group thread on the DC Meet possible from JeffNJ for the link... hey, maybe he'd roll down too?

BTW: I heard through the grapevine that there is supposed to be an SR powered s14 at VIR?  I'm on the list for a ride along.
