thanks billy its cause its just new and needs to break in, great coil overs got my s13 slammed and can still go lower and such precise damping. Flipping the bracket is a muss if your planning to slam it thanks gain will post pic up some.

how are 9/7 spring rates on these for a daily? I've had a lot of different coilovers and that seems to be the set up i like the most. However, i see you recommending 7/6. Just curious as to why. All the coilovers i've driven on that were 7/6 or 7/5 seemed a bit "bouncy" and sloppy feeling.

It's just the way Fortunes are build. They run really smooth with 7k/6k spring rates. If you want a stiffer set up but still drivable 9k/7k is perfect.

These would be going on a daily that may or may not see the track so that's good to hear! I may be ordering a set of these in the near future!

I am running a 9k/7k set up on my car. I daily drove and tracked mine for three months before I ripped it apart to build the car. After the initial 80-100 mile break in period the coils are smooth as silk and the 9/7k rates are totally daily-able.

The only thing I dislike about the 9k springs is they are taller then the 8k springs, so you can't go quite as low. If you flip the bracket you will not have any issues though.

I definitely love my Fortunes!
