i mean cars are rare here...and i cant travel over an hour for something so I really have to settle for something. What im trying to ask is what should i ask you think? I mean i tried for some papers on the motor/tranny swap but he said there was nothing but his friend..mechanic...at somewhere...checked it out and he himself ran a compression test and it came out 180 like stated already.

Now there was also this 240...which is an hour away and is also a drifter...he wants to sell to put all his efforts into his nsx...keyword drifter...and gutted interior...making it seem like its a washed up toy...but he said it had 60k body miles and 20k engine so im not sure what to believe.

To be honest with you, if I had to choose I'd take the p3 just bc it already comes with a few goodies. Looks a lot better and you can still build it to your vision.

Now with the 96 there is too much he/she said bullshit. If there is no paperwork then I wouldnt trust it.

I have sold cars that Ive beat the shit out of and are still running. It all depends if the guy maintnances the cars as well in my opinion.

thats just my .02, I hope it helps

That happends a lot. ( I have done that a few times )

But yeah I would just go look at it (if you have the money ) and take a mechanic friend or ask someone here on zlivia. There is a plenty of people here who would help you out. seriously.

I would stay away with that amount of mileage on the body, better of waiting a bit and saving money to get something that will last.

its alright, i got something from a reputable guy

still has 160k but all stock

and the suspension is somewhat modded with quality parts.

so even though its a high mileage, i still know the guy was honest and trustworthy
