Just getting done with a bit of an overhaul on mine. Painted the bay, fixed a few issues it had, re-did my whole brake set up and a 5 lug swap. Just waiting on my transmission rebuild to be done so I can get the motor back in.

Hey guys, I'm pretty excited I found a decently priced coupe and local too. On top of that a two tone!!

So you guys, meet "Misty the Mistress" (gf hates how much time I spend with my cars lol)

Just picked it up this afternoon from a middle aged Christian lady who's husband got deported.

(Don't mind the "chunti" look it has, will do my best to take some stuff off soon)

Color of car: Platinum Blue Metallic/Dark Gray Metallic (Looks like they repainted it, so I need to get the black stripes on this baby)
Build date: 09/89
Original transmission: Auto
Sunroof: Yes
HUD: Yes (gets stuck at times)
wing: Yes (No idea what kind of wing it is)
State: California

Plans for near future: 5 lug, restore the interior, z32 brakes, and finally 5spd conversion.

In my opinion, I think you should keep the car. It's not everyday you come across a two-tone and those that sell theirs seem to regret doing so down the line.

Been there... my first car was a two-tone, sold it, got 6 other cars since then with the latest being a 2004 BMW Z4 and during the ownership of all those cars I hated myself for getting rid of my two-tone. I spent sooooooo much damn time on the computer looking for a two-tone (keep in mind, I was doing while still owning the BMW Z4). I had to have another. One day I got a break and found one an hour away, went to the bank to take out a loan (BMW Z4 put me in debt) and bought it and haven't regretted it.

I just love looking at the damn thing and it gets sooooooooooo much positive attention too. haha btw, the BMW z4 will be given to my dad to take over so I can be freed of debt (momentarily).
