Damn really struck a chord with that Australia comment lol and yes I realize laws are super strict over there and most of the awesome looking cars are track cars
Doesn't change the fact they look better than the majority of cars over here

haha, can't wait to get my 86 running, slowly gathering rare parts, for instance just recently I found another gts underdash harness after the PO wired it incorrectly and burned the harness in my gts. finding underdash harnesses before people buy them is hard. anyway longchamps are my favorite old school wheel, we need more longchamps love! |

Also not sure how you could go lower with s13 suspension, my ae86 and ke70 both have 86 front and theres no way you could drift with anything lower |

Someone get on Minkara and find out more.^^^
OT: Reminds me of a time when silviaks2nr was going to use 16" BBSs on his car. I should've bought them. The USDM bumper goes better with the small wheels IMO.

I'm trying to achieve this shakotan look with my S13 but I'm having a bit of difficulty. It looks as if most of these builds have dropped their suspension more than 4". This is to run 15 or 16 and have it without wheel gap.
I wonder what most people run for coilovers then because mine are maxed out at the spring at 4.25". With 16" I still get wheel gap :/ |

If you're not interested in getting a different set of coilovers, you could get shorter springs for your current coilovers. Measure the ID of the spring, determine the overall length you need, and poke around online. That's what I did to get my rear lower.

Yea man you would only think but not for nothing a course like Sports land Yamanashi ( i believe there was a carboy 89 drift gp) and that southern part of japan have been drifting for a very long time, teams like drift ensemble have been around forever. even in our late 20's and early 30's for us to have known about those years and drifting, when we were young lads would of been nearly impossible. when i was young the most i caught was the late 90s option vids when they go around the wangan checking out everyone's t88 r32, r33, etc... |

For me, it was the rears that needed shorter springs. Yeah, bottoming out is a concern, but my shocks haven't blown with the short springs, so I guess all is well.
For the fronts, yes, you can move your lock collar underneath the mount. That's exactly what I did.
