now to whoever that own a dark blue color that look like bw9 dark blue from like 04-06 altima and bw5 from 350z san marino blue ... cause it look so much alike..but you can only tell if both of the color into the sun.. otherwise u cant tell..cause they look pretty much 90% identical but the dark blue from altima have more paint then flake....while the san marino blue have more flake then the paint it self ... becarefull.

Just painted my coupe. Got all my paint from Napa. $128 for paint and $70 for clear. It's Galapagos green metallic from the Honda Element.
Prepping: End result with a lot of buffing left to do: Close up: |

^That's actually not too bad for a DIY paint job.
I wish more people would do that alternative as opposed to shitty ass rattle cans and the oh-so-infamous flat black. Yours might not be perfect, but it sure looks a million times better than shitty rattle can black. Good job. I'm loving that Platinum Blue Metallic. |

Yes.
Yes you do. If you're highly considering rattle can flat black(as in, you don't give a fuck about your car), try this. Buy a cheap paint gun at Harbor Freight, borrow a friends compressor, buy some fairly inexpensive materials(just like headup240), spend a few hours blocking your car down. Hell, use your current paint as your base. I don't recommend it, but again, if you're being cheap and don't want to fork out like $40 in primer, then go for it. Look up DIY paint job write ups. Your car might not have a show-winning finish, but it sure beats the living shit out of rattle can flat black. |
