SR not cranking over SRLower Harness NOT Ka Lower.

Details,

93 240sx.
s13 red top sr20det

I am using the SR20engine harness, and the SR20 Lower harness. I did not use the ka harness do to a previous alternator problem that screwed the lower harness, still worked before changing to sr20 though.

Things to note.
I have a full battery charge.
the relay you can hear clicking from inside the car is working
I have the clutch depressed (it isn't bled is the sensor based upon position in the transmission or just if the pedal is touched?)

Q. my car will not crank over, in the meantime, what of the three main connectors by the bat/ fuse box is the one for the starte. The black single pin one, or one of the two grey ones.

is this a known problem with the lower harness not working properly with the fuse box?

I would prefer not having to take this one out and use the ugly ass pos KA lower harness. since mine is melted and I do not trust it at all.

Thank you,
Andrew

make sure the signal wire on the starter is connected...mine has fell off before.

was the car previously auto? if so you need to bypass the park-neutral switch.

There is no ground wire on the starter, it's grounded through the case.

Previously auto or not?

The car was a manual. i found that ground you were talking about, oops.

Car still does not crank, but since I connected the ground I hear a.

Click click, that is not the relay in the car. Only after holding the ign-on for two seconds it does this.
