s13 coupe build

What's up guys,

I'm pretty new to the site and also pretty new to the 240 scene but am pretty excited to build my first. I contacted a local Los Angeles shop, Team Clockwork Performance, and so far they are awesome. The owner has great service, great prices and the time frame in which the car is expected to be done is phenomenal.

So this is my 240 as of now and I will post more pics as progress continues.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::UPDATE APRIL 22, 2012::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
NEW SILVIA FRONT END

What's being done so far:
SR20DET Blacktop swap
RHD conversion
Silvia triple projector front end
FMIC
Custom Team Clockwork turbo exhaust
Megan Racing stainless steel turbo manifold
Circuit Sports turbo elbow
Circuit Sports 3" downpipe
HKS SSQV BOV
Westco Sealed battery

Please let me know if you have any insight or comments on how I can make my car better.

I won't trade the dmax tail lights but i'll definitely probably trade the rims. they're 4x114.3 +25, and they're not in terrible condition. What did you want to get rid of?

And yeah man, Team Clockwork is the shit. I'm super excited for them working on my car and they're very informative on what's going on and on giving me advice to make the car better in general. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing work on their 240.

The RHD conversion is still undergoing but it's pretty much done. Here's some pics.

Car is still underway, but it's coming along pretty well.

make sure to keep your stock manifold. Any aftermarket manifold is prone to crack.

nice build man. i saw your car on craigslist before. so I'm guessing your in the whole LA area. well clockwork is a ok shop but id only go to them for a RHD conversion or silvia front end. their sr's are ok but id weather go to ORIGINAL. their a good shop. not to say that clockwork isn't. but a bit high priced on certain things. but just my opinion. look forward to seeing how you build ends up

I'm needing to buy a few things still.

Suspension>>
Ichiba 5 lug hubs
Drilled & Slotted rotors w/ shields
MB Battles or XXR 530 style wheels
Rucas
Rear toe arms
coilovers (something with a smooth glide)
Inner and Outer Tie rods
Front and rear LCA

Exterior>>
Rear 50mm+ fenders
Front D1 40mm fenders
D1 side skirts
D1 Front and rear bumpers
Universal front difusser
Canards
Dual brick headlights

Interior>>
Recaro style seats
silvia s15 steering wheel
AEM EMS
Gauges and pods
GReddy profec spec2 b boost controller
Apexi turbo timer
Any cool looking shift knob

Engine>>
6 puck clutch and new light flywheel
6 speed tranny for sr20
Koyo radiator
New Intake Manifold

If you have any of these parts laying around for a decent price, I don't really have the money to pay for them new or if you're looking for any parts in general let me know I might have something laying around.

***Keep in mind, I'm still in Afghanistan and won't be back for another few months so parts will need to be shipped.

Just got the Silvia front end on

Need to remove that back dent still. Will be gone once the 50mm Origin fenders get thrown on.

I dont think I have seen the RHD conversion done that way before, so this was all pretty new to me. Hope this car is a lot of fun for you! I am sure I would enjoy that engine in a weekend car.

That conversion looks like they just cut new holes for the steering column & bmc. I hope they reinforced them adequately.

That seems like the wrong way to do it to me. I am anything but an expert though

Car looks good nontheless, seems like good progress is being made
