Most Japan drift cars seem to look terrible lately.

Especially missile cars.

^ dousan I can clearly understand all the errors on that coupe, but me being a person who gave up his mint stock 92 white hicas hatch for a coupe, ( I droped my type x project, just so I can do it to a coupe) I must say that coupes deserve a equal opertunity to the oe aero.

hmm i have a question. the round fog light things in the lower part of the bumper. what is the point of them besides looking cool are they like running lights, or are they turn signals. it just accrued to me that ive never seen them actually doing anything....

that blue car was one of my favorite cars on here when i first joined.

I'm pretty sure they are turn signal lights...

Top clear ones are running lights.

Bottom round ones are turn signals.

IIRC, Dmax sells the square lights with two bulb sockets to have running lights & turn signals at the same time.

Eliminates the need to run the round turn signals.

and read my words, the dmax ones are INSUFFICIENT and DIM and should not be used for turn signal usage. a fucking 5-watt wedge bulb is useless and only good for parking light usage.

as far as i know, i am the only one selling a quality dual LED version of that light.

I wouldn't doubt it.

That's why I'm keeping the round turn signals.

So, did this "chop" a few days ago.

I loved the car in white, but I get tired of seeing the same hood on every one of these cars.

I like the cleaner look.

^ I want those mirrors. They're made by EC Works I think. Sold under a few company names like Bandoh, Saurus, but I can't find them on any of their websites. Need to hit up RHDjapan, maybe they can find something. I'm thinking about selling my ganadors that I just got, haha. Was thinking about craft square tc-f, I wonder how they would look color matched to the car.

I definetly agree that silvia front ends look best on coupes, but I want functional lighting, and since I only like the brick lights, on silvia fronts, I can't have that. I have a cookie cutter image in my head of what my car will look like(kinda like the one crimsonrocket did a photoshop of but on a coupe). The only thing that I can't decide on is do I want bronze TE's/LMGT or white, and whether to go with kouki sides or chuki. MY coupe will be painted some form of bright white. I don't know if anyone has done what I'm looking for, though I can't imagine that at this point there's too much left that hasn't been done, to our cars. I just know that when its done, it will be done right.

I still say a very moderate onevia with 180 kouki aero can be pulled off. Most of the times I see attempts with rediculous wheels that need widebody, I think the wide makes the kit awkward. Stock fenders, 9.5 +15ish wheels and on the floor might be able to be pulled off. The main problem I think is the rear, almost nothing matches. There is a very minimal URAS rear that might line up with everything.

This chop is the ideal look I think for the coupe/180kouki combo...still lacking the rear though

great effort with chuki sides.

9000hr MSpaint job I just did at work just now. I still say minimal is the key

Ah Bandoh does not exist anymore as a shop. He was responsible for Sealazone body kits. He was also a tuner. He got hired for big money by one of the JGTC teams to call the shots in the tuning department and that was that. That happened around 99-2000. Bandoh has officially been out of business for close to 9 years.

just because im a coupe fanatic i just thought i would run this by you guys.

how do you think the GPsports g-sonic type-r rear valence would match up on a coupe with kouki fronts and chuki sides?
Im not thinking of doing it just caught my eye while drooling over GPsports.

I also realized how similar the g sonic type II front and sides are to kouki.

s0ap, WOW just WOW! That coupe reenforces my thought, that properly done, a coupe can pull this off. I have to do some more research on those valences, because I truly only want oem valences, they're just becoming extremely difficult to find. On the flipside, I kinda hate you for Introducing the thought oF Changing my wheels to those enkies!

The problem, in my opinion with the G sports Gsonic type II skirts? It's the fact that they just flare outward towards the ground and do not have a cut line with an angle back like Hot Road and to a lesser extent OEM Kouki. While they may mimic the basic coke bottle effect their shape is off. IMO
