Well, My SR has been running pretty rough so last week was devoted to figuring out the issue and hoping it was a small fix like timing. That ending up not being the issue because im right on 15 degrees. I checked my MAF, vacuum ,and all that jazz with things seemingly to be in order. Yesterday, i preformed a compression test... well im 120 across the board (yes i warmed the engine up with the throttle wide open) so I did the cap full of oil trick to see if my rings were toasted... My compression didnt go up at all. I'm guessing its my valves that need to be rebuilt. OK, thats great and all but I just found out I have an assignment to japan (be there in less than a years time). Should I stop here and part out my car? Thats heart breaking or should I remove all my upgrades and sell the body... My s13 isnt pretty (stock body) but I have full z32 brake upgrade 5 lug, full seat belt conversion from a s13 in germany (stationed there), hks exhaust, and plus all the crap under the hood.. i just dont know what to do.. Should i just strip my car and find an s13 there? ahhh depressing.. thanks for listening to my babble

keep it and put it in storage, AF will pay for it.

Gather parts for it for when you come back to the states

thanks for the input, but i have a lean out on a car im paying on now thats getting stored (my daily driver) if the af stored 2 that would be great. lol, If i didnt own anything on my other car, i would get rid of it in a heart beat.. Maybe I can sell it.. hmm
