You can use stock manifolds for this swap. I suggest finding some HR headers because they are tubular instead of cast. They will clear steering linkage too. The VQ motor doesn't gain much when it comes to headers.

Yeah I think I'm going to use stock manifolds for now, but fabbing up some headers is tempting.

Looks like my knuckles are shipping out today finally, can't wait to start hammering on this thing!

I'm pretty sure they won't fit the S-chassis, and they also cost an arm and a leg haha. I plan on turbocharging this thing eventually, no sense in blowing my budget on naturally aspirated stuff.

Now I have to get my lower coilover mounts un-seized so I can flip them and get the front end back together.

Old vs. new.

I love this suspension wizardry.

I've never seen that setup until now, and I'm digging it. Might have to look at getting that setup for myself.

Haha, thanks guys. Yeah it's pretty nuts. The really nuts part is that if I pull out some caster (strut is still inside PCD of strut tower), then I can actually pull even more angle.

Haha yeah, we'll see what the car does when I drive it. Hopefully I don't have to raise it any, but it might chew through fenders, I'm not sure at this point.

Thanks man, it's been a good time talking with Robbie @ TDP. Just make sure you know whether you want the 70mm RC kit or the 100mm RC kit when you order, I didn't know there were two kits so that's what caused all these delays.

Just the angle of the picture, I'm not THAT low haha.

I should have some progress tomorrow, I just got laid off at my job... Plenty of time to work on the car now haha.

Well, I like having my cars low. I know a lot of people hate on it with the "suspension geometry" argument, but when you have companies making things like this, and drift works and PSM making stuff for the rear, there really is no argument left. It looks cool, and functions. I love it.

Yeah man, I'm all about having the car low and functional. I just have to take care of the rear now. Wisefab has a pretty trick rear kit out, TDP is coming out with one, and it looks like I might be getting something a little more "custom" from a friend of mine.

Hahah yeah man, thanks for taking it off my hands. I'm really trying to figure out what kit I want to go with, I hate choosing what my car is going to look like, I have a couple different looks that I really love.

Here's some boring in-progress wiring pics. I still have to get some loom and good tape to clean all this up. Removed all the crap I don't need in the interior.

The wheel is not staying, don't worry.

I'm no expert on the wiring, so I'm not really sure what's going on with your car, I am very jealous of your DET though!
All of the wiring info I got here: http://zilvia.net/f/tech-talk/481752...ml#post5142402

The angle kit is from Track Day Performance. www.TDP.ie - Championship Winning Mapping & Parts Their facebook page is probably easiest to get a hold of them.
