Electrical fan wiring problem

Hey guys, I just got my first 240 over the weekend and the guy before me wired 3 fans into 1 switch and it's getting extremely hot and im afraid it's going to burn out soon. I was going to run 2 fans on 1 relay and the third on another. Since this is my first wiring gig I was curious if anybody could help me. I drew up how I THINK it should be, but correct me if i'm wrong, I don't want to screw up. I'm running 12 gauge wire on 30a switches.

You need power to the switches, but yeah the looks like the right idea. I also think the relays are grounded which I can't see either.

I keep seeing people interchange 85 and 86 as grounds, As far as what i've been able to read and what you've told me it should look a little bit more like this. Should I put fuses going to the switches as well? Sorry for the crude MSpaint getup

Why do you need 3 fans?

You only need 2 fans and 2 relays. Make sure the source power wire is 12 AWG all the way through, those cheap eBay sockets that plug into bosch style relays are usually only 16 or 18 AWG so you will have issues. Your grounds also need to be 12 AWG or bigger. Since you are tapping directly from battery you will need 30A fuses for each fan relay power source, about 1 foot from the battery.

I don't agree with that diagram! A relay wired like that makes little sense. Will it work???? isn't my question. Why use a relay for that? Is the question.

Since he has 30A switches he doesn't have to use relays. But me personally, I like to run my accessories (like cooling fans) on relays.

edit:

If you don't want to use relays, and you have a switch that is rated for 30A...

I know, me too.
edit:
That new diagram would be more simple for anyone that needed to wire up fans, that didn't want or understand relays.
