S13 -> S14

I have a 96 s14 with a blown kade, if I get one out of a s13 as long as its a dual cam it will bolt right in including the wiring harness right? Thanks in advance guys.

no, you need to pull the intake and exhaust off your old KA and be sure to use your old transmission. the intake and exhaust cams are different but I don't know much of a change it will make, also re use your dizzy

Thanks for the quick response, my only worry is the wiring harness, is it the same?

If you are going s14-s13 KA, you just need to bolt up the block to the transmission and swap the distributor to your s14 ka style. I would recommend swapping the entire engine harness since you know yours is good. Then is should be a completely plug and play swap. Swap Harness plus distributor and then plug into your ecu. Should pretty much be a turn key swap.

I have done the opposite swap before, s14 ka for an s13 one and it worked just great, I used the s13 harness, ecu, and distributor and it fired up with no problems.

Good Luck to you Sir.
