264rwhp and 290rwtq from an SR

1996 Silvia K's SR20DET
Stock S15 spec-r M/T Turbo
GREDDY V-SPL FMIC
Walboro Fuel Pump
TSF one peice aluminum driveshaft
stock s14 ECU
stock 370cc injectors
manual boost controller


that was on a 4.08 rear end...i have now put in a 4.36 that should pick the HP and TQ up a little bit

I am damn impressed that my SR did these numbers after 4 solid years of brutal abuse

EDIT: s15 turbo for the win

how can you make that much with just an intercooler, boost controller, fuel pump, and driveshaft??? those are impressive numbers for such little mods. maybe it's the driveshaft??

its not the turbo that came with that motor, therefore it is not the stock turbo

just showing that the SR can make TQ

hell i have seen an s13 Sr make 254rwhp at 13ish psi before..i think it was actually a little less than 13psi

I have been wondering about TQ latley. I have a s15 sr and as you know the hp is 250 but the tq is at 203. I am guessing it is because of the intake runners, or the vtc. I would think that it would be more potent if you got a s13 or s14 sr with a s15 turbo. The s14 has vtc aswell but the tq #'s are fine, so does any one know the cause of such low tq on the s15? I will take the car to the dyno in 2weeks, once the drive shaft is made to see if it makes a stock 180rwtq.

the vtc play a huge part in the TQ of the engine..if i unplugged te sylenoid at that boost level my tq would drop close to 45ft-lbs

during the boost spike i would swing lean..but once the boost would settle the a/f was in the 11's..IIRC..i have the dyno info...but no scanner
