Holy shit that's cheap. Do you know how legit your stuff is? For gods sake man, charge more!
I'm going to be doing some suspension arms for my Fd, and possibly adjustable upper control arms for some extra camber. The more I learn about the FD suspension the more I think I'll enjoy it with some real rubber under there!

practiced on stainless the other day
here is my progression the top one I was pretty pleased with the consistency but I undercut it because I ran too much of a chamfer and not enough rod 304 stainless and 304 safety wire for fill rod |

The alluminum was done with tig. Ya it's a rock reamer. That one went to china. The stem is 4140 steel so we have to preheat the stem to 450 before welding the front and rear gussets on it, and those sometimes get up to 800 degrees or more. It's a hot bitch in the summer especially with the long ass passes on those gussets. I have a picture by picture on the build of that tool, I'll post it up when I get home today

^Thats the kind of shite that encourages me! Most if not all of my background is mechanical. I have done some very light fab work in the past, but it never turned out for that great. Atutt and myself have a few fabrication projects over the spring and coming summer, the first of which was to make full length replacement frame rails that were as close to stock as possible. We have been bouncing these ideas around since October and just recently came into some shop time, unfortunately Atutt was out with back problems. We had some scrap sheet metal lying around, so I figured I'd test out the jigs we had been working on. So here it is, my very first fabrication project. Once Atutt is better, then the fun will really begin.
