Question Need pics of underhood of TRUE japanese 180sx

I want to see what all stickers are under the hood and their placement. I want to order all the oem underhood stuff. I found the ignition advancement. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

why bother? your 240sx will NEVER be a 180sx. No matter how much you make it appear so.
Anyway, auction.yahoo.co.jp.

technically 180's and 240's were made in the same damn factory with the same parts. we just have a different motor. swap in an sr20 and call it a 180, its close enough

Okay, now you're just being a fucking retard.

Sorry bout the harsh language, but its true.

Tossing a CA or a SR into a RHS13 and calling it a 180SX is not much of a strech except for the fact that its LHD. You can argue all you want about stupid shit like trim levels, bumper supports, slightly larger brakes etc etc but it doesnt really fuckin matter.

How come yall diss on the newb about calling his hatch a 180 but nobody says anything to Nadine?

Not intended as a knock on Nadine; I think her car is great and as far as I'm concerned it is a 180SX... just like as far as I was concerned my car was a Silvia.

So leave the poor bastard alone and stop acting like e-thugs... apples and oranges, a matter of opinion.

now i remember why i hated forums.....

ran a board search and still got told to use a search engine... by the way if any one can tell me how to get that god damned meta search from popping up everytime i type in yahoo.com or google.com i'd appreciate it.. it's probably a command just chillin in a directory, but i can't find it and spy bot removal software isn't all about finding it....

and what's wrong with trying to be as jdm as possible? our car never came with an sr, ca, or rb.... should we hang up our ideas on that too?

if you wanted to flame, you coulda just went to the forest and dropped a match in it... and of all people it came from dousan who normally has opinions that i understand and respect when i read his threads on here.... oh well

my two cents. cha-ching rock on

What's wrong with Meta Search Engines? They search for Meta Tags...

there's a big difference between putting a superior engine into your car that drops in with a minimal amount of work because it came like that in another place, and trying to be jdm by replacing underhood stickers.

i honestly don't see the point. these cars excel in their driving experience. so why was time/energy/money doing something other than making it more fun to drive? besides...you'll never be 100% jdm unless you BUY a 180sx, so why not just leave it.

How about everyone just chill out and let him do what he wants. If anyone has some valid helpful suggestions then post it. If someone thinks that this guy is wasting their time, or that it's not ever going to be a "real jdm" car then just keep it to themselves. The idea of a forum to get people together with similar interests and work together, not to slag or badmouth others ideas or dreams and tell them they're idiots!

Just my 2 cents

no i was referring to making it a 'true' 180sx (the entire car, not under hood)

also some clips wont have all the brake stuff too...or body panels (if its kouki) etc..
bumper supports..blah blah blah..

yeah i heard about you dousan i guess its true! noone likes you. different trim levels whoop de do. all im saying is you can swap in an sr20 and i think you shouldnt be flamed for wanting to call it a 180. shit they didnt change the name to a 200 when they put in the sr, likewise in the UK it had a 1.8 and they called it a 200. sure maybe you cant say its a factory 180, but dam its so closely related. so what if parts are different they bolt right on to a usdm car. if they brought the car here and they left 180 on it, youd be the only ass arguing that they change it to 240. i maybe be a newbie to zilvia but i am the biggest s13 fan out there, ive been driving them for years.
