Need thoughts and opinions (Rivet reinforced Chassis)

So a couple weeks ago I traded my FC for another 240

Apparently the original owner decided to rivet JUST ONE of the front strut towers too "reinforce" the chassis for strength.. When I first saw it, I wasnt bothered by it THAT much but now I cant stand seeing it. It looks like ass and I think it actually made the chassis weaker.

So my question is, what are my options on fixing this? I was thinking to drill them out and have everything stitch welded

(note: its not even all the way around.. just halfway )

Pop rivets... Sigh, does the guy know about real rivets?

Looks like he tried to repair the tower and didn't have a welder or seam bond.

Just drill out every other rivet and spot weld them. Then drill out the others and spot weld them.

Hahahah omg, that is some funny shit right there, i never seen anything like that. Might as well drill holes everywhere and put a nut and screw on. wowww...
And it looks like the dude that did that totally missed the sanded lines that he made.

It almost looks like the car was repaired at the panels were just bonded with the rivets as someone posted above.

Lol. I love everyones over-reactions on here. So dramatic. hahaha.

the rivets look like they are aluminum, so welding OVER them is out of the qeustion.

it's not as bad as everyone is making it sound.

drill them off at certain groups (5 per group) and then weld, and then repeat the process.

Burn it. Then put it out with your own urine.

I wouldn't have traded a dead hooker for that piece of shit.

Seriously guys? it's one strut tower with a couple dozen rivets in it.

It's not like the car is totaled with a bent frame or anything, a bit of drilling and welding and it'll be good as new.
