Next size up? What tap did you use? Though it would drive me crazy that there are two different size on the VC, wonder if you can use heli-coil..

Take that bolt to hardware store and tell them you want either heli-coil or next size up and get the proper tap.

Either front main seal, oil pump/front cover or oil pan. Clean the area with brake clean and a rag to see where it's coming from.

Any idea why soon as I manual switch on my fans with a switch my car bogs and dies out? Ground, alt or battery? Happens whenever my fan controller hits its temp.

White Smoke is coming from o2 sensor/upper down pipe area. It looks like the smoke comes from the o2. My car idles from 900 to 500 vice versa. And also the exhaust (straight pipe) back fires seems like the car is running rich. Any ideas what cause white smoke to appear?
Oil is good, coolant is good, no overheating

What would cause the oil pump/cover to leak, bad sealant?
The oil leak goes all the way to the bottom of my tranny.

If it's going that far back, that sounds like oil pan.

The area around the main seal on the timing cover has oil build up, and as well as the side of the engine. Also, the right side of the car like the tension rod, tierod, and etc is covered in a layer of oil sludge. I'll thoroughly clean the area and try to source the oil leak. I'm hoping it's the main seal or oil pan.

If you can run 17x9+15 wheels, get rid of the inner fender plastic, and run 235-40-17 all around, you will have more than enough grip. I would also suggest single brand, same tread because it works better. For winter, 100 pounds of sand in the back, and regrooved SnowTrakkers work great on black eyes with a similar offset.
You could go 245 in back, but there is something really nice about being able to rotate tires for even wear because saving tire money for car parts is way better

Would anyone know what would cause lots of play on the drivers side rear wheel when it's jacked up? It's an s13, suspension is all stock, also has a lot of wheel hop whenever I hit a bump and I'm giving it gas. I already replaced the wheel bearing but it still has the same exact play.

buffing compound (REALLY fine, like 1000 grit) and a soft cloth

I have 17x9 rims with 245/40 tires and I don't rub.
Keep in mind that I have coilovers and the stock plastic inner fenders. So you could try that tire size along with Redline's suggestions for a little more grip.

as i said before, extremely fine buffing compound and a soft cloth! circular motions, takes about 2-3 minutes if you put effort into it.

you can pick up a headlight fog repair kit and use the buffing compound they give you in the kit (its the white liquid crap, same thing thats distributed in CD repair kits).

S14 Kouki Wing Trunk

I recently installed a Silvia Ks wing or Kouki wing whatever you wanna call it on my trunk. Originally it was a wingless trunk, now the problem I have is that my trunk wont open now cause of the weight of the wing unless I have a second person lifting it as soon as I pull on the release latch from the side of the seat. Anybody know how to calibrate the release force of the trunk or have any suggestions on how to handle this? I searched on here but everyone has issues related to the cable that releases the trunk. My trunk opens fine but it now requires two people to open it. Thanks

Gotta keep in mind that your fan assembly is spreading that oil all over the place as well. Best bet for you to locate that leak is clean any areas with oil and begin to trace the leak.
