Search Capabilities have changed, for the worse...
I generally run a search every few days of the For Sale forum and its child forums. I put nothing in the search criteria or usernames. I would simply select all of the states that I wanted to look in just to see if anything new had been posted in my area. I like to know whats available in my area, because if something is a good deal close by, I may pick it up. As of a few days ago, this worked without issue.
Today I tried to do the same thing, and it no longer works. The forum rejects the search and asks me to put something in the seach bay or username bar. Kinda sucks...

Odd, I just tried searching in the wheels/tires section choosing only the state suffix and didn't have a problem. Maybe it's been fixed already by an administrator or search overload?

Does anyone else have a problem with just searching in general. I cannot search zilvia in any way, every time I try to search something it comes up with a blank page. This is with trying multiple browsers too.

I'm having the same issue that KAs14slider is. No search is working, regardless of where I search from. Only a blank page appears, instead of search results.

If I search for a keyword(s) I get a blank page with an "HTTP 500 internal server error" message. If I search for a username it works fine. There is definitely some sort of glitch in the search function. It's annoying the hell out of me because I'm trying to search for a Gracer S13 rear valence that my buddy told me he saw. Oddly though he managed to perform a keyword search last night. Immediately after I could not search using a keyword.
WTF IS GOING ON???!!! |

Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving http://zilvia.net/f/search.php?do=process. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly. Here are some suggestions: Reload this webpage later. HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request. This is what read every time I try and search for anything.... |

I only ever use the "New Posts" button. Works fine for me lol.
If I need to find something specifically, I just go on google and search "Zilvia (specific item)" and it seems to work great. |

Search has been broken for a while. I tried using it earlier this week to no avail.

So my search ability on this forum is hit or miss. Or more like miss, miss, sometimes maybe hit, probably not.
Is there anything on MY end that I can do to insure that the search function works? I always get that search.php?do=process blank page. |

use google.
just add "site:zilvia.net" to the end of your search string. If you search for things like "s13" or "s14" with the search it will error out, presumably due to too many hits. |
