Azenis kick ass!

A few months ago I bought Falken Azenis tires to autocross with so I don't shred my street tires. It was seventy degrees yesterday so I decided to put them on and play around a bit. Oh, man they are awesome. I drove hard around the parking lots here at school and they just stayed glued to the pavement. I then went into town and they drive just as good as my street tires do. I thought they'd be less smooth, but no, I couldn't tell a difference. I can't wait to bust them out Saturday at 16th street. Anyone else have these tires?

they are the BEST tire for the money. the only street tire that I know of that is better is the TA K/D. Only because it doesn't get as greasy as the Falkens after several hot laps. But for auto-x they are the best street tire I could think of. Even for track days though, you can't beat them simply for the price. the K/D's are a good $100 more per tire.

I might actually be running the Kumho MX at CMP though. I need a tire that doesn't "grease" up, and will have good rain traction. The falkens deal with rain fine.. it's standing water they REALLY don't like.

the falkens are kind of noisy too. not an issue for most of us though. certainly not something I give two cents about.

Great tires, I had them on my car before I sold it. Have been thinking about replacing my current crap tires with them just because I like the extra confidence I have in the corners with them. Also then I wouldnt need to throw on any r compounds I get for track rims for street use.

those are pretty nice tires, I always wanted those.... but I ended up getting the Toyo FZ4's instead... so I never did tried the Azenis.... but, these toyo's work really well too... very sticky, good with wet roads too.... i love it...

I got mine for $384 at Tire Barn Warehouse. They were $84 a piece, and mounting/balancing was $12 apiece.

The kumhos are definately better in the wet. The Falkens are definately superior in the dry though.

Cool

damn they are cheap. wonder how much the 225/45-17s are.

the 205s would be nice on an otherwise stock 240 though
