since there's already a shitload of talking in this thread, I'm going to ask if you wheel fitting elitists can help me out.
I have 30mm rear overfenders, and will be running about 3* of camber. Will a 18x11 -16 wheel fit with 255/35 stretched tire? Flaming welcome, it's only the interweb...... *Edit* - it's a S13. Last edited by Slammed180; 05-14-2008 at 09:15 PM.. |

Dial in some camber, man up and lower it. Give us sizes, you didn't tell us anything with those pics.

sorry. all the way around 17x9 +15 mm 235/40 front 275/40 back. to go lower i need to relocate my wiring harnesses under the fender. i do realize that 275 on the back wasnt a good idea exactly. so i am either going to go smaller once these tires are gone of get flares for the rear. |

Those sizes are super cookie cutter nothing special.
I ran 17x9 +9 with a 225/45/17 in the front. (I regretted it because I couldn't go any lower, and that was MAX cambered out.) and 18x9.5 +12 with 225/40/18 and it fit perfect with a roll and very minor pull. People really need to look around on this forum before they do something. REALLY figure out what you want, don't just run around spending money.

Yup 195s on 11s are 'style' I guess so, they must be poor souls for thinking otherwise by fitting 255s on 9s or 275s on 10s, 3xx on 11-13, etc... but I do agree for this thread... fitment-wise all I gotta say is all aboard the Mexican fitment fail ship.

This is the "wheel fitment whore" thread. The guidelines are laid down on the first page by Meph. Squidd made some amendments to make this thread better. People just need to follow those guidelines when they post and all is good. 235/40 on a 9 not your cup of tea? You don't have to click on this thread, much less click on the reply button. Most people know you want meat on your wheels, that's why you started the "maximum rubber thread". Stick to that thread please. You don't see people click on that thread and post "having 275 on a 10" wheel is stupid" all day long, and yet you click on the "craziest stretch" thread and this thread, and keep interjecting your opinions. God forbid someone disagrees with you, you start calling them fags and retards and all kinds of names. There really is no need for that. You said, on another forum, that people should respect others, and that you were trying to be a better man, and basically wrote a 3 page reply telling me how much it insulted you that I posted that video of "Achmed the Dead Terrorist", which wasn't even directed at you. I then asked for the mods to delete the thread because it turned into a religious thread, and had no place on the board. Well you know what? You are derailing this thread, and pretty much any other thread you post in that has to do with either style or wheel fitment. You're even a premie, so you should know better than that. So I am asking you nicely. Cut it out. Please. RULES: Yes it's the same pic. I haven't changed anything lately so that's not really changed. 17x9 +20 w/ 215/45/17 on there. Camber unknown, but the tire is about 1.5mm away from the inside of the fender. |

Fine go bend/rash/whatever your wheels. This thread is about wheel fitment and flushness as the original post implied. It never specifically implied stretch your wheels like a whore in baby size cloths. There is a 'stretch' thread as you yourself implied the very absolute opposite of my 'maximum rubber fitment' thread. Two different 'styles' if you must. This thread is for wheel fitment and flushness not for dissing properly mounted tires or hell even your tasteful stretching. LIKE OMG he fitted 275s on a 10 OMG. The guys who posted with non stretched wheels sucked in their fitment, true say, never disagreed on that.

i'm running 235/40/17 on a 17x8 +25-f and 255/40/17 on a 17x9 +38-r with tokico struts and tein s-tech springs. there is plenty of clearance all around, so I have a pair of 275/40/17 to go on the rear next (which should easily fit by the measurements I've taken), and I'm thinking about going with a much taller 245/45/17 on the front, but i'm a little worried about hitting the shock under hard cornering because of the extra height (the width isn't a problem).

http://www.zilvia.net/f/showpost.php...&postcount=356 Seriously. This isn't the "hai guise how will these wheels and tires look on my car?" thread. If you don't have wheels that are flush, don't post. It really IS that simple. It is about as simple as unzipping your pants, whip dick out, piss in the fucking toilet and aiming for the water so you don't get it on the walls, then when you're done, shake it a couple of times to get the last few drops off, then putting it back in your pants, and then zipping your pants up. Washing your hands or not is up to you, depending on how sanitary you are. Please apply the same type of logic when you are about to click on the "post reply" button. If you ain't got shit to show? Don't post. If you got a question? Do a search first. This post has 50 friggin pages worth of info on it, I'm sure a quick search through these pages will at least give you an idea of how it will fit. If you still can't figure it out? Try searching the entire site. Then google. Honest to god, if you can't find an answer to your question, in 2008, on this day of May the 15th, by utilizing a computer and the internet, something is wrong with you. Nothing's wrong with the internet, it's YOU. |

back on topic hey what do you know? pics of wheel fitment in a wheel fitment thread? MADNESSSSSSS!!!! its a skyline but fitment is the same as s13 only difference is skyline fenders are way harder to pull 17x9.5 +17 front with 215/45 federals and 18x10+18 with 225/40's...or i guess i could say curbed rims and shrunken baby clothes fitment?? |

This thread has been hijacked by stretch nazi kids. /end. Whatever carry on. No point in arguing... Notice my post responding initially, those that posted non-stretched tires sucked big time at fitment...The thread title should be changed to "another stretch fitment thread"
Anyways, Shrunken baby cloth fitment wheels FTW. Whatever, fail fail, all. /exit |
