picked up the car Friday! had some issues with the tuning sooo i went ahead and ordered Mega Squirt 3 for it...for those who dont know what that is, its a full stand alone that you literally build yourself (solder the board together and run wires and blah blah blah blah)

this video is of the car just on a S-AFC II so its not a perfect idle or anything at all...but its a good clip of the exhaust and turbo. once the tuning is done, there will be more vids!

Honestly, it came down to price vs performance....i see alot of guys that run the high-end expencive stuff and they like it, and it works well....yes....but i also see the guys who run the mega squirt and love it, have $1500.00 extra bucks in their pocket, and still run the same (if not better in a few applications).

it was a no brainer for me with my power goals and budget right now...its gnna take a little extra work in the begining with soldering it all together but, the "auto tune" is going to be nice to use after a days work.

Well guys, got the car back and boy am I disappointed...I tried to work everything out with Tony from Shifted but he won’t help me out so hear I am telling you guys that if you do end up buying from them, WATCH YOURSELF! I have dropped my sponsorship and will no longer be affiliated with Shifted Performance.

I will be following this up with a detailed thread of my full experience with Shifted either tonight or tomorrow (it’s a lot of information to gather and put together)...I’m sorry to those who have followed this build and may have already contacted Tony about their builds or have bought anything from him in advance. My whole build seemed to be perfect until I picked the car up and found that it had been practically destroyed...body damage, faulty parts, cheaply done fabricating, complete disregard to any sort of functionality and much much more...

In the end, I now have a motor sitting in my car crooked, doors that won’t open from the inside, gauges that blind you at night (when they work), turbo rubbing a hole in my brake lines, coolant lines improperly ran to turbo, A&N fittings cross threaded and JB welded into the valve cover, exhaust leaks, and to top all that off it now has rod knock.... there is much more to list in my "experience with Shifted" thread...this will get interesting, I can promise that.

We are tearing into it this week to try and see what happened, but we assume he didnt use correct touque on internals...ill have more info as we start the tear down and rebuild...i believe we will also be building our own engine mounts since his had the motor about an inch crooked from front to rear of trans...

big things to come from this, full rebuild, internals and all...

I choked on the price for the swap kit. $1,300? And then seeing all those issues, F-that.
