i would of welded a 90 degree onto the turbo before putting it on the manifold.. just saying lol.. looking good

motor mounts are done! like completly done, Tony re-did them 3 times to get the motor EXACTLY where he wanted it...heres the pics:

Hey guys (and maybe gals??), Stance monkeys has been hanging out in the Shifted Performance shop doing all the pics and also writing articles on the build as its been going on...they just finished up their third writup on the build and it is now up on StanceMonkeys!

The new article gets into a few of the reasons that the Shifted Performance kit is such a good kit for the price and for those who need a kit that doesnt interfere with the stock subframe (Formula D for one)

Check it out! either way...it has more pics then i have put on here haha

welp, Tony just ordered my intercooler kit, radiator kit, clutch and other trans parts needed, exhaust, downpipe parts and who knows what else! in all 14 separate orders and about 2g later....EVERYTHING NEEDED TO FINISH THE CAR!

UPS, dnt let me down!!!!

There is very few if any VQ's that can out perform a 2jz in anyway at all, 2j make more power, more efficent head design, the block is stronger, they sound a whole hell of alot better, The top dog GTR VQ can't even compete with the 2jz engines. They are easier to work on and will give him a lot more room to work with for a turbo setup and clearance. The 2jz is one of the best japanese engines ever built period, This is an awesome build!!
