Not like it's really "rice" or anything, but it's been too overdone. Usually white wheels on a red car or any car for that matter is normally associated with show cars. Therefore...

Show cars = rice according to those standards in some cases. I'd say just go with whatever looks decent to you. I personally like bronze or gunmetal wheels on a red car.

White rims on red cars look very good IMO. &nbsp;But have you thought about a dark anthrecite (gun metal) instead? &nbsp;Even when your rims are dirty, you can't see the brakedust. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I have white rims on a white car. &nbsp;They get dirty in a matter of minutes. &nbsp;Looks good, but requires a lot of elbow grease, and patience.

brake dust would be MUCH more noticable with white rims than it would with gunmetal gray ones.

well, my definition of &quot;ricey&quot; is someone trying so hard to make their car look good by using cheap ass shit or slap on things that just dont look right. &nbsp;

in this case for the white rims, i would love them and i would think they are fine.

White rims look tight as #### on red cars. TE37s would look very yum yum. I was thinking of some, but I don't want to have to deal with dirt/brake dust.

Well I had White 17's on my old prelude (red), and some kids walked by and started screaming &quot;GO GO POWER RANGERS!!!!!&quot; needless to say I got rid of the rims 2 weeks later (well I had a hard time catching up with Civic DX's as well)

I don't think it's ricey. If you're using the stereotypical definition of ricey, they're not ricey unless they're some cheap knockoffs of another brand. Doesn't matter what color they are.
