it all depends on the company that makes it

some, such as Ichiba, use larger studs so you have to buy from them. Same goes for their hubs

Call whoever you bought it from and ask, or call them direct. Or take the spacer to a shop that sells the lugs and have one already out for reference

Hello im having trouble with my e-brake locking up my passenger side. i thought i had a stretched out cable but i replaced it with a good passenger one. i even rerouted it on the underside of the subframe so the subframe wouldnt pinch it "pbm solid risers" and its still not engaging. i tightened halfway at the nut under ebrake handle so it was tight on drivers but still easilly spinable on passengers side.....

i looked at where the two cables connect to the e-brake T bracket and ones pulling more than the other so its lopsided kinds like an =/-- < thats where the two connect to the T bracket one one sides pulling more than the other..... ill upload pictures if needed.

can someone give me some help on fixing this... is my passenger caliper just done or what?

you could kind of see how the bracket that connects the two cables is crooked..

That would be the way to go.

Either that or just run them. Any pad worth it's salt is going to dust dust dust.

i upgraded the bulbs in my climate control and the buttons around the steering column to led's and they look great! but.... they turn on when the car is on and they turn off when i turn the headlights on. so...

headlights off = climate control lights on
headlights on = climate control lights off

is that normal?

Maybe you have the polarity reversed. A lot of LEDs can only be put in one way.

stupid question, but!

is it possible to "reclock" a shift knob?

like on oem shift knobs, if the pattern is facing the wrong way - how can i fix? Just grind off the shifter so the thread stops at a different spot?

already tried loosening it then using threadlock, didnt work

because i'm too drunk to find the "engine" section...(ka-t???)

Wanting to run blow thru maf but NO bov.

Is this going to throw my afr's off like woah or am i gucci?

I searched and it seems most are runnign their mafs pre-turbo no bov.

Here's why i DONT want to run a bov.

1. They waste boost

2. They sound like you're beating a cat while drowning it while firecrackers are exploding deep in it's anus. I love animals. I do not abuse animals but i'd assume that's how it would sound.

3. They draw too much attention and everyone wants to race because OMG TURBO BOV OMG JDM!

4. I dont care about the bearings in my turbo. If you can't rebuild a turbo you are a retard and have no business owning a turbo car let alone giving advice on one.

5. Flutter sounds like birds chirping while the Beijing cocktail is coursing through your veins. THAT sounds cool to me. Personal preference.

Here's why i'm asking:

I AM NEVER BUYING FORGED INTERNALS FOR A KA EVER. There is no need for my goals. Hell, at 400hp and under there's no need. BUT the key here is that perfect tune that keeps detonation from happening.

Detonation does 2 things. Causes stress on the rods and causes stress on the ringlands. We all know what happens when either of those parts can't take anymore.....

I've read that chances are low for something bad to happen on decel but you never know.

Thanks!

On the premise of that, I have oil coming out of my pan and I didn't fill it with oil yet. It's obviously leakdown from the head but I thought I sealed it real good. I REALLY don't want to take it off again. What do?

All you have to do is move it and verify voltage and afr.
Ideally yes it's going to screw with the afr because the air is cooler and that's how a hot wire mafs works. "the denser air will remove more heat from the wire indicating a higher mass airflow." So even at idle, you should see a difference.

The reason you are contemplating this is because you are able to tune the ecu, correct?
You will be able to compensate for this minor but major(oxy) change if you have control over the ecu. How well it will work depends on your ability to tune a mafs based systems.

You didn't fill it with oil yet.... so how do you know it's leaking?
Is it seeping from the pan gasket area or the drain hole? If it's coming from the head to the pan, out the drain. Then that's normal. Always clean the area and you'll know for sure. That lil bit of oil left in the head should not seep out from the pan gasket, Fill and verify or pan gasket redux!

Well it was very strange, two sets of eyes couldn't find oil on the front cover, which is where it should have come from. It was leaking only under the crank pulley. It seemed to have appeared from no where. But, I took it off and resealed it none the less. Hopefully it will stay.

Thank you sir. And i am working towards msII but might have to settle for an safc/emanage to get me by til then. I'm a fan of map based systems actually.

So at the last track event I jumped over a rumble strip and caught air. Didn't think anything of it, until I looked under my car. My frame rail has a huge bend in it. I'm not too concerned with it, but I'm just wondering if it'll affect anything too much...

i know that, but its like the oem shift knob, once you tighten it to a certain point it just starts to twist the shifter.

I don't want to shim it yet, that seems like it could potentially rattle and annoy me

So i tried making my side markers blink and looked up some tutorials, but when i wired up one side, all my side markers (front fenders and rear quarter panels) stopped working. my front turn signals and rear work, everything works except for the side markers. help?? i have checked my fuses that i have researched, everyone pretty much said the right column 3rd from the bottom, it was still good... idk now.
