Question about s14 distributor.
So I live in Cali, long story I got Ref'd and now I have to pass smog. Anyways the Ref told me my distributor was a performance distributor and that I needed an E.O. # or proof that it is street legal.
The part number is: 2210070f0 t2t58071 I believe it is a rich Porter distributor. I called around to several auto parts stores and when asked for an oem distributor they were quoting me for the exact one I had, same brand. So im in a bit of a dilemma. I don't want to waste money buying another distributor when this one seems to be an exact oem replacement. Any suggestions? |

Have you tried a Nissan dealer? If yours really is OEM you can get an invoice from the dealer that shows that the part you have is actually OEM. It has to be the exact part number as the one in your car tho.
