SR Need help on buying a s13

Hey guys/girls. Is $6000 a good price for a s13 coupe with a red top currently in it starts but doesn't currently run tough. It has 5 lug conversion a welded diff, buddy club coil-overs, Silvia front, d max style body kit with 30mm rear over fenders and unpainted. Also comes with an extra black top engine and transmission that has been freshly rebuilt by a machine shop has new pistons and rings and a few suspension arms Thanks.

absolutely not, unless he has every single receipt for that extra engine, plus it comes with a warranty, including labor.

but no, basically from the description you've given, it sounds like someone is getting rid of a headache.

You should buy an M6 instead. They run tough.

Non-running SR, welded diff, and unpainted...these are things you should avoid. It shows how much he hasn't taken care of the car.

If you knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it, I'd still make an offer. Extra parts can be sold off for money towards new parts, you could tear everything down and pick the best stuff for a build.

BUT if its your first S-chassis and you dont have a lot of time, money, and desire to work on it, i'd walk straight away.
