Engine bay's appear brighter with the hood completely off. This goes well if you have a ton of polished goodies in the engine bay, especially some which are in the lower part of the engine bay which would usually be hard to see in the darkness with the hood casting a shadow over the bay (blocking the sun).

Yeah, I am being a little lazy, but I dont want to guess it, I want things to be close to factory spec as possible. Plus I am not going to drive my car with multiple body panels like half the people in our community that like to spread automotive aids.

I can respect that, I'm gonna take it to the shop to see if my work was any good. Otherwise they'll just get it back to spec with the machine. I hate multi-colored cars as well, but I'm broke from fixing my car at the moment so no paint until I have enough for a legit paint job. Good stuff man keep us updated and post pics!
