I think that is Mike... I met him a year or two ago. Is it an aftermarket blue color? If so then it's him and it's a CA18DET IIRC.

GT SPEC R - I can help on the exhaust too.  It's easy (4 bolts), but frighteningly easy with a lift...so take up BEISEN on his offer.  Also, Here's the info on the NOVA contact.  If anyone is seroius about contacting these guys for an engine or clip, lets get together and negotiate with them...

Thanks Ryan. Car should be finished soon. I've got it to a drivable state now. I just need to fix all the bugs.
I'm at home working on it just about everyday after work. Feel free to stop by.

About the motors. I'm gonna give em a call and see whether I can open an acount with them. That way we might be able to get these motors even cheaper.
However (I haven't seen the website yet) with most places that don't cater to "performance" engines, you stand a better chance of getting a motor with something wrong ala dented oil pan etc etc. Plus if they don't sell clips I feel sorry for whoever buys a motor from em.

GTspecR: Remember to spray a healthy amount of butt lube on those exhaust bolts. They are probably rusted to all hell by now so you might have a hard time getting them off. Other than that, exhausts are a peice of cake.

Which reminds me:   Any suggestions on places to rent/live somewhere near/close to 66 and 123 (Vienna).  I'm getting transfered from Gaithersburg so I need to move from MD to NoVA.

Or better yet any garages in the area that you can rent for  car storage, etc.  I'm hoping to get a s13 race car put together by spring, so I need some place to store/work on it.

I don't know of any meets right now but on fridays alot of times some of us are down in rockville and hang out alot of the time.I will be there this friday you should come out it is alot of fun.All you do is take 495 north to 270 towards montrose rd exit 4a and follow that down till ya get torockville pike or until you see the shopping center lit up on your left where b&n is.Real easy place to get to.Is anyone besides me comming this friday?I am on a count down before I leave I am gone in exactly 27 days.

Who drives the blue (89-90) 240sx at GMU with the FMIC (I'm not sure if it's SR or KA-T)..I've seen it around a few times..but now with the FMIC?  Anyone know? I've got it to a drivable state now. I just need to fix all the bugs. I'm at home working on it just about everyday after work. Feel free to stop by. About the motors. I'm gonna give em a call and see whether I can open an acount with them. That way we might be able to get these motors even cheaper. However (I haven't seen the website yet) with most places that don't cater to "performance" engines, you stand a better chance of getting a motor with something wrong ala dented oil pan etc etc. Plus if they don't sell clips I feel sorry for whoever buys a motor from em. GTspecR: Remember to spray a healthy amount of butt lube on those exhaust bolts. They are probably rusted to all hell by now so you might have a hard time getting them off.
