Im about to order the 92 front lip that is sold on ebay from a seller located in canada. Before i buy it i wanted to see if anyone else on here has already purchased and installed one. If so how did it fit and can you post pics please. thanks. If noone has and i do end up buying it ill post pics.

I bought one like more then a year ago. just a heads up the shipping might be pricey. Fit really good actually and fits perfect to the already existing shape of the chuki bumper.

Only decent pic i can find.

you could always get a pignose lip, or if you are cheap as hell then go an get a homedepot lip

Test fit picture.

Fits really good actually, I had to have someone push in on the vent on the pass side just so I could get enough slack on the driverside to snap it onto the end of the bumper. So tight that it made a little bit of a cracking sound going on, but once it was on, I just went around a pushed it in a bit in a few places and it fit really well and tight.

Still need to sand it and paint, ect, but yeah.

I'm giving it a few weeks at best before this thing explodes on a rock or something.

sweet dude, makes me feel better about ordering mine.does it actually make the front bumper lower...thats the main reason i want one, as i cant lower my front since i have longtube headers

It's fiberglass, definitely doesn't feel too flimsy. In fact, it's standing up in my room right now on the end pieces (kinda like a rainbow) and feels pretty solid. Needs sanding and bodywork, obviously, but it seems good enough for me.

A brand new xenon lip can be had for a little more then that. You can still get them brand new from Speed Alliance. I should know because I got one a few months back. Forgot how much exactly but it was less then 300 IIRC. Plus it will practically last forever because its poly and looks much better IMO. That fiberglass lip wouldnt even survive the trip down my driveway.

well thats the reason i made this thread was to see the other lips out there, im new to 240's. besides that, the lip you listed is not the same. i think the ebay one is alot more clean looking without the holes everyhwere, and it was 185 shipped. thats a fair price to me

When I said it will explode, it's because of how low it makes the front end, not because it's flimsy.

I personally don't like the xenon lip at all, so I didn't want that.

As far as paint matching, I am planning on it eventually, but I might wait until I find some chuki sides or something to go with it before I do.
