I had this problem before my sr swap and the two things that stayed the same was my lower harness and my cluster but not as bad. ok, the problem is my speedometer is not working most of the time. It works once every couple days for a couple of seconds. the weird thing is i have the greddy turbo timer hooked up and it says my speed in km which i am only assuming is right and it always is working.
my guess is my speedometer is bad since the turbo timer is working. Its been raining non-stop where i live because of the hurricanes, but when it clears up i want to go to u-pull it and grab a tach from another dohc. is that going to be hard or is it even possible? Damn i just realized that my odometer will be off!
Tell me what you guys think?

Yes its possible and no its not hard once the cluster is pulled you can change the gauge in less than 5 mins.

Once the clusters out pull the face covers off and remove the 4 screws for the gauge aon the back and the odometer wire plug and swap, Reinstall...done
