240sx SR swap help information

So i recently got a state referee on my 240sx, and i got a sr in it, so then im swapping it out with a ka24e so i can pass smog but right now im running into some problem with the ka24e, and also my dad is getting tired of the car always in the garage. So then i still got the sr laying around and i was wondering if i could just buy a 240sx shell and throw in the SR? i know there some other shit that im have to do, but i dont know what it is, so that why im asking you guy this question,
Can i just swap my SR in a shell? what would i have to do in order for me to be able to do that?

What the hell are you asking ? Is it possible to buy a 240sx shell and put your SR in it ? Yes.

The more important question would be... Would a rolling shell include enough original wiring and interior parts to function after you swap in your SR. If you buy a car with a blown motor as a shell, the yes.

The most important question would be.... What the fuck did you do to get pulled over to get a ref ticket in the first place ? If I were you, I'd pull my SR, swap in the KA, pass smog, then swap in the SR again. If your dad is pissed about one car always in the garage, why would he feel any different about 2 ?

• Got caught with a SR now you got to fix it
• You asked a shop to have them put the single cam in
• You want us to tell you what you should have your parents pay for

Yes, you can throw in a SR in a shell. If it has all it's wires, go on google & look up how to convert your harness.

Sounds like you don't have your priorities straight. Get your single cam fixed then worry about your SR.

Its been a while but what happens when you go to the ref? Can't you just pay the fines and keep the SR in? What are the actual reprocussions?

Last time I heard that you just pay off the hefty fine if you plan on keeping that engine in there. You usually have to be a complete asshole to get your hood popped & cited that ticket.

1. My mom and dad didnt buy me the car,
2. Me and my friend is doing the swap not a fucking shop, i took out the sr already, and almost a full ka24e motor in place
3.Im paying for everything from my pocket,

When i got pull over, the officer ask me to pop the hood, i though ti was fuck when he said that, but i didnt know that they couldnt do that, so that my mistake already, i got pull over for my loud exhaust.
Also for the state ref, they wont let you just pay it off no more, the stop that during 2010.

Also my oldest brother got me the sr so i dont really want to sell it, i want to keep the sr because i feel bad that i have to sell it, so that why i want to keep it, and hopefully put it in a shell,

I really don't get what your asking. So you want to remove the SR... Install it in anoter shell and swap in a KA into the car that has the sr? I don't understand the point in doing that? Now you have 2 cars, more work, and a ref ticket still.

Remove the sr, put in the single cam KA, pay your ref ticket and rock the KA for a month, then remove KA, and install sr again.

@ Slide way, lol so im just curious about what i can do with the SR thats all, my main plan was to put the ka in my current car right now, and pay off the state ref. I was just curious about what i sohuld do about the SR because i was planning on swaping it back in already, but was just curious about what if i put it in another car, so then i have 2 cars, idk, just a random thought in my head, i kind of miss my SR thats why

Well you could plug the emineo into the quazifizzo and swap the 2 misifelleys around and put the other wasambe into the retaining wesifer. Should help solve your problem! Hope that helps.

Finally got my engine in, just a little bit more work and wiring and its off to state ref and back with the SR lol
