the oz f1 cup rims r anthracite painted, not like an actual "black." n how much does it cost to powdercoat a rim black? i guess i'm going for a really "dark" look, mostly looking for 5 spoke style. the g-racing ones here come in black, but not exactly what i want. i really want a 5 spoke either like the racing hart's below or the ones in the link. just hoping somebody has seen something out there. i asked a friend n he mentioned some spoon wheels, but he said they r pretty expensive.

or like the ones here w/out the red lip:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot....7831250

hey blank, Rota makes a Spoon knockoff called the slipstream its all black and it weighs 12 pounds . You can get a set for about $450
I was considering them but I am sold on the Black Advan SA3r's which come with either a Blue lip which I think is sick or a Red lip.
Also 5zigen typhoons come in hyper black for $1000 a set

i looked for those advan's n rotas on the net, but could'nt even find pictures of them. the typhoons' hyper black ain't really what i'm lookin' for either cuz it still isn't dark enough, thanks though. if nebody has ne ideas i would greatly appreciate it. i'm gonna c if my local shop recieved its new catalogue of rims tomorrow cuz they're supposed to be gettin' a new company to go through w/ a wide selection of rims n tires on stock. rather look on the net though cuz orders tend to get delayed there when u order.

oh, this would be perfect, or like those racing harts i posted before this. can't find a site that sells them or how i would go about gettin' them, don't care if the rims r knock offs as long as they're made good for these spoon rims or similar ones to the racing hart ones.

Ok go to groupbuys, The Rota's that look just like those Spoons are there. They are priced at $411 for a set of 4 . You can also get them at Modacar.com I may buy a set just for drifting. As far as the Advans go . Just use Google and type in Advan wheels and hit search . It will give you about 5 different places . Shin Kai raciing has them Jspec has them . wheeloptions has them.

good luck

i think something like that will look good on my car. nobody's really shown me much of a selection for black rims so i might have to end up getting the g racing suzu's i posted earlier even though i don't think they're the nicest rims out there.

http://www.modacar.com/wheels/lightweight_pkg.htm

there are your rota's. Unfortunately, though they're light, they only come in 15x6.5 It doesn't list the offset.

I really like the Star Form R2 Real Racing rims they've got. They're gunmetal with yellow lettering. Pretty fly imho.

These are the ones I have. I'm definitely taking out the ltitle silver studs and having everything but the frame powder-coated in black. So, yeah... I kinda like these...

i did a search for rotas n checked group buys n found nothing. on modacar.com has them for $460 + shipping or $825 w/ some bridgestone re910 205/50/r15 tires. $411 sounds better though . can u use them on the street even though they say "racing wheels," i don't c why not, just that fastnissan said those ones on the s14 r for racing only. i wish they were a little wider, but i can deal w/ them. would these rims fit on my 195/50/15 tires i got on my car now? thanks for the help everyone.

The wheels were "race only" because the tires on them were from Japan and never DOT approved.

The spoiler is by Nissan, it is the JDM spoiler.

Yea, there's the Desmond Regamasters. They're just as expensive as the Spoon wheels. Then again, you've got the Rota Slipstream knockoffs for $400 w/o tires. Here's Velocity Racing's Sil-Eighty sporting the 17" Regamaster Brites.

When I asked modacar for the Rota's bolt pattern several weeks ago, they told me it was only available in 4x100 & 5x114.3. Someone might want to double check because they don't list the offsets or bolt patterns on their site.

takumi, thanks for posting that, those rims look sweet. i think the rota slipstreams will be fine b/c they're lightweight, all black, n cheap. they better be 4 X 114 though cuz i'm gonna be pissed if they're not cuz i've finally found what i'm looking for rims wise for now (still could be wider though . can somebody confirm that or tell me they don't have them in 4 X 114? i couldn't find ne specs on them either.

thought i should post this here in case nebody else was looking for some black rims, i posted it on another thread 2.

thanks for the whalentire link, i've never been there before. i found these on there:

but they had to put white lettering on there. if it's free shipping it's like 1k w/ kumho ecsta supras for 17 x 7's. they're the only black rims they have there. now i'm gonna check out that other link .

Whalentire.com charges for shipping. The deal at http://www.importhookup.com with Wheel Options doesn't charge for shipping. However, they charge you extra for making your wheels gunmetal or black for certain models. I say check out the importhookup deal and give Wheel Options a call. ADR is a pretty crappy brand if you ask me. I've seen people on with the ADR Spiders that literally broke while they were driving. However, if you're not gonna race with these wheels or drive hard, they'll be okay, I guess.
