18x9.5 +25

I had to run a 5/16" spacer to clear the coilovers in the front.
The rears fit fine with no clearance issues inboard.

By my calculations, I'll need an 18mm spacer to bring them back out to stock backspacing.

I need to buy some new tires.

I also have rear overfenders (+50) and front flares ready to go on.
What's a nice beefy (wide) tire that will fit well on these wheels? 275?

Goal is 315+ eventually, but I think the minimum I could even stand to see on these wheels is 245.

I don't mind raping the front and rear fenders to get max tire under there.

I do want to have the same size tires front and rear, and may lower the car another 1" front and 2" rear, keeping only a little bit of rake.

Recommend spacer and tire sizes please.

im not even sure what your asking... are you trying to run a 315 front and rear? or are you wanting to know whats the widest tires you can run front and rear with what you have?

clarify please
because if you want to run a 315 you need a ~12" wide wheel..

Yes.

I have overfenders for both front and rear that I can put on if necessary.
I also have spacers I can put on if need be.

Tire rack currently has 285/30/18 on sale for $95 each, so I'm going to try at least that size in the rear.

You can run a 315 plenty fine on a 10.5+
a 275 fits just about perfect on a 9.5 IMO if you're going for the meaty tire look.

Just a heads up....for anyone looking for a pretty decent tire, tirerack has general exclaim on closeout for a ridiculous price on a 285/30/18. $98 bucks a tire. They have some other sizes also on sale but not as cheap....I picked up 2 285/30's and 2 255/35's for $540 shipped...Hope I'm not violating any rules posting this just trying to help a brotha out.

So i'm hoping by going to a 275/40 from a 225/55 i should keep atleast the same traction.

I currently have NT-01 in 245 width and they're super sticky.

They grip better than the cycled r6 Hoosiers I have on my autox car.

On wastegate (10psi), I can't spin 2nd gear anymore with my jz swap.

It just hooks and goes!

Look into them if you can stand the low treadwear rating.

I see them on performancetread.com for $197 in 275/40/17.

The 315/35/17 is $224.

Also, the ecsta XS is $228 on tire rack for 295/35/17 currently.

My 18x9.5 +20 stick out that far maybe a little farther. Pretty sure those are 9.5 rears though. A 275 is a little stretch on a 10.5. An I'm pretty positive those Works never came in 10.5.
you're correct. widest the CR came in was 9.5
