I just picked up a set of Starforms (2) 17×8+9 & (2) 17×9+15 for my stock body s13 on k-sport coilovers. Was wondering what tire sizes you guys might suggest?

Rears will clear for sure, i've cleared Z32/R32 rears with O-disk. Front, not 100% but I dont see why it wouldnt. Q45 front brakes aint exactly thick.

Worst case scenario, it shouldnt need more than 5mm spacers if it doesnt. You can slap 5mm slip ons on the stock studs.

The tire profile is just a percentage of the tire width (265/35 tire means the side wall will be 35% of 265), so a 225/35 will have a "thicker sidewall than a 215/35. so I supppse you could measure this out for a 40 profile tire and decide what you want to do.

Keeping it 'square' is an advantage when you rotate wheels from front to rear. Not staying square means you wear tires faster and suck it up faster eating raman

I have an s13, looking into buying some 17x9 +12, +22 or 17x9.5 +15, +18 rims but don't know what offset to get them in, I have fortune auto coilovers and don't know if I will need spacers to clear them,

18x12 et+20 with 335/30/18 up front on s13: how much spacer?

I'm guessing 30-35mm.

Yeah, you definitely don't need spacers with those options. 17x9+22 will PROBABLY clear most coilovers without spares, but the 17x9+12 will CERTAINLY clear. Same with the 9.5's. +18 might clear, but probably won't, so the +15's are a safer bet.

hey guys! im kinda new here but ive been reading posts on this forum as a guest. epecially this one.. i've been trying to research wheel fitments and have seen a few.. but dont recall seeing anything with a similar setup i plan on having..

i have a 93 240sx coupe. will be doing silvia fron conversion with 50mm rear overfenders and 40mm front. my car has allot of aftermarket suspension parts.. i havent had a thorough look to see what is all there (car had everything on it when i bought it).. it does have coilovers so i know that will help with fitment in most cases.. i would like to avoid modifying the wheel wells in the front. i would like a wide and aggressive setup with deep dish and whatnot. with a square stance or with minimum camber if possible.. but all these setups and offsets get kinda mind boggling.. perhaps you guys could help me and post some wheel specs that will work on an s13 with widebody fenders that i mentioned.. but of course.. with some play room for spacers as i intend to upgrade my brakes before i get new wheels..

thanks guys! hope someone can help

^ I can tell you right now that 18x12 et+20 fits the rear with 50mm overs.

I'll have to do some math for the front.

What ride height?

not exactly sure to be honest... i dont exactly have perfect roads in my area so nothing crazy.. at a side view i want a little bit of a gap between the top of my tire and my fender.. not going for a crazy slammed look.. just want something that fits well and is able to be flush to the side of the car..

also.. if you or someone else could possibly provide a decent range of wheel spec setups.. with some wheel suggestions.. (can just give names and i can look it up myself) pretty much just looking for a deep dish.. dont have a specific style of wheel i like more then others really.. so im open to all suggestions.. thanks

Will 18x10.5 +20 fit on the front of an s13 coupe without tubbing the front? Obviously wider front fenders are required. I'm just wondering if I can pull it off with a some stretch, camber and hammering the wheel wells. Also whats the minimum spacer size I need to clear the coil?

I wouldnt go anything wider than 9.5j on S13s. You can make it fit but good luck making u-turns.

Depends on HOW you're adding camber. Most coilovers have slotted upper perch holes, if you push the knuckles in, then tightening the perch holes, you'll get more camber but you'll also be pushing the wheels closer to the strut/suspension.

Pretty basic, just gotta make sure you clean the mating surfaces and getting good silicon to seal them. Trick is, dont over do the silicon and letting them cure atleast 24 hrs before you mount tires on them. Can't remember what the torque specs is off the top of my head but there are a bunch of guides on line on how to reseal 3 piece rims.

Im coming from the mustang world and have a couple questions on s14 wheel fitment. Ive searched but haven't really had any luck. I dont want to run any spacers but want a pretty flush wheel. Could I run 18x8.5 +20 (F) and 18x10 +20 (R) mustang wheels without needing spacers and have enought coilover clearance?

Are people running fr500s/saleens using spacers? Thanks

17x9 +20 is a safe pick if you dont want to pull fenders. 18x10 +10 is doable if you want to pull the fenders and should clear suspension all around.

Its not a bad set up, just kick the fronts up to a 9 or 9.5 if they're available. But if you opt with the 8.5s, they should clear suspension without the need of spacers. Mind you, it may not be flush enough to the fender, that would be the reason you might want to slap some spacers up front. Thats why I recommend 9 or 9.5s.

+20 up front and I'd go mid +20s to 30s for the rear. Fronts, personally, 225/40-18s.
